Can you think of ANY group of voters that DOESN'T vote for whoever gives them handouts. That's how things work in this country, if you don't tell them what they want to hear, you don't vote for them.

Most business-minded Republicans vote for whoever lets them keep more of their own money. Not a handout.

If you look at the rap "stars" they pushed the thug culture, and the MSM was more then happy to help it along. Hell even the names of the rap bands had thug in the title.

The reason I do not watch TV is because they use it as a way to propagandize the public.

This may surprise you but I don't even own a TV so TV has virtually no influence on me. I grew up without TV and I just never picked up the habit (picked up plenty of other bad habits to be honest but not TV:))

I think abortion is a tragic decision and is greatly overused and is, IMHO, an indicator of lack of responsibility in many cases. Birth control pharmaceuticals and devices are commonplace and readily available so choosing to reject them and depend on abortion is, at best, unwise.

However, the law of the land permits abortion under most circumstances. Wishing otherwise will not make it change. We are a nation of laws (too damn many laws) and we have definitive rules to define murder. Abortion is not so defined and we must honor this despite our personal feelings.

I will speculate that a majority of these abortion eliminated children that would have grown up in the worst possible circumstances. While we do offer welfare and some other assistance, I believe that these aborted children would have been a negative for society. They would likely have been welfare recipients and unless you are an advocate of welfare, the absence of these thousands of extra hungry mouths to feed should be viewed as a blessing, not a curse.

You can define that as not a "handout" but it's not really much different. They vote their wallet too.

You mean like how they took steps to eliminate slavery or how they were members of an abolishment slavery society or how Benjamin Franklin pensioned the congress in 1790 to abolish slavery? That's history as well.

Exactly...let's not pretend that all founders were rabid racist. They took the choice that creating America was more important than taking a hardline against slavery which would of resulted in fragmentation and ultimately...still slavery. You can blame them for making that choice but don't paint all of them with the same slaveholder/pro-slavery brush. It was pretty hotly debated.

Do you not see that it just labels you as inferior? You're not inferior. You don't need "special programs". And they aren't working at all anyway.

I have no idea where you got that from. I make over 100K a year and I vote democrat. I never said that our communities didn't have issues. What I am trying to tell you Is that YOU CAN'T REACH OUT TO A GROUP IF YOU DO NOT GO AND TALK TO THEM AND OFFER BETTER SOLUTIONS WITHOUT TALKING AT THEM. But for some strange reason you do not understand that.

If you righties put half the energy that you waste on suppressing our votes into opening up a dialogue then you will probably be in better situation with minorities.


And by the way, its not like it is just blacks that don't like you guys. How did you guys do with the minority vote in the last election?

This is common false outrage prolifers try to use, while their messages continue to condemn African-Americans as some OTHER people separate from white people you.

Do only black rappers have violence in their songs. No. BUT you ONLY hate and condemn black rappers.

Do only African-Americans have abortions? No. But you only condemn African-Americans.

Every message you have makes one thing clear. To you, African-Americans are OTHER people, not YOUR people, for YOU judge them collectively as if they are a completely different species. To you, African-Americans are 100% all some collective OTHER than you white people THEM.

For that reason, your messages are just what you see as a clever tactic that persuades no one and nothing else.

Interestingly enough, the statistic show abortions are decreasing in NYC:


• The citywide crude induced terminations of pregnancy rate decreased 19.0% from 2003 to 2012,
and nearly the entire decline has oc- curred in the past five years.
• Since 2011, induced terminations of pregnancy decreased 8.6%.

So while the numbers are still high, atleast they are decreasing overall and not increasing.

Sure you can, or you can be taken from one foster home to another. Statistic don't lie.
