"NYC: More Black Babies Killed by Abortion Than Born " This is so sad

They don't want to hear that. Blacks, as a whole, want false empathy and condescension. They want to hear how it's "not their fault" that they're in this lot, and that they're doing the best they can with "the man" holding them down with a boot.

Then they go off and buy Bone Thugs and Harmony CDs, singing about the "first of the month", like welfare is a holiday.

I have no idea how we can wake them up. So much opportunity is just sitting there for them to seize.

I know several black people that are successful and educated, and it pains them greatly to helplessly watch it all, but even they don't generally vote against the Democrats. It's ingrained in them somehow that it's treasonous to do so.

Demonocratic party is the party of the KKK you knew that right?

^ Junk message, as is the OP.

The poorer people are, the higher the percentage of abortions. Because there is a high rate of poverty in NY among African-Americans, there will be a higher rate of abortions.

Now, please link to ANY thread you started expressing your concerns of high rates of poverty and unemployment among African-Americans. I don't think you give a **** about African-Americans, but such a link would prove me wrong.

Maybe not universally, but if you look at voting demographics broken down by household income, you will see a more "evening out" amongst high-income black households. It's not the 90-95% Democratic numbers you typically see in black poverty households.

You watch too much damn TV....

And see this is half the problem. I bet you have never set foot in the inner city yet you criticize it like you are a expert.

This is why the democrats are beating you guys with minorities. When I was growing up in LA white democratic politicians like Kenneth Hahn, would actually come and speak at our schools and they would go to town hall meetings and talk to the community. This was normal. Nobody was "getting shot" in the meeting. In fact there are a lot of white Christians that setup missions to help others and they are not getting shot.

Is the democratic approach best for the community? That is debatable. But until conservatives actually come and talk to the community then that is the only option we will see.

George Bush did. He just didn't placate his audience. He didn't tell them what they wanted to hear. He spoke to them as equals, not blacks, and it served him no good.

Democrats pander and promise, and it works to the tune of a 95+ percent voting bloc.

There is no power in that kind of lockstep voting. There's no follow up required of the Democrats if you don't make them earn your vote.

Demonocratic party is the party of the KKK you knew that right?
That can't be true, blacks by a huge margine vote for Democrats. We have a black president an he's a Democrat.

Hey another informed poster, and yes you do see the move towards the whites.

Sanger is hated because she is highly responsible for the abolition of laws outlawing birth control and contraceptives. Since all pro-life slogans and dogma traces back to the Catholic Church, the reason you hate Sanger is understood, as is you wanting to impose your religious beliefs than can not possibly affect you upon others.

so you are claiming that the KKK voted for Obama then right? your comments are not only intellectually dishonest, so is your claims about the Dem party. during our country's history BOTH sides engaged with the KKK, so your point is idiotic.

The OP looks at everyone and measures everyone in racial terms. Each messages is more bigoted that the prior one.

Thank you ever so much for this response. I was having a crud day at work and seriously needed this laugh.

We do, constantly, but you don't want to hear us.

We speak the truth to you, which, like it is for everyone, isn't always what you want to hear. The solutions for your community's problem are damn hard. I certainly don't envy the uphill battle you're facing.

Democrats have taught you that you don't have to look in the mirror, that none of your problems are your fault, and that if you'll let them, they'll fix all your problems for you. They tell you that you're simply the victim of rich white people that take joy in your suffering and spend their time trying to figure out how to make your lives worse.

Your real friends are over here. We want you to succeed, and we'll more than gladly help you. But you've got to be willing to help yourselves. There are people within your community trying to tell you this, yet too many of you ignore them.

It's time for you to join this nation once and for all, and stop accepting the inferior status that the Democratic Party heaps on you. Don't fall for it anymore. We're here for you.

:lamo

Gipper. Thank you for your honesty. The OP must have thought that my question was rhetorical because the OP has not responded.

Conservatives are not supportive of welfare growth. So for someone to claim that as a Conservative they want to see more impoverished children born is hypocrisy.

Respect,
S

AH my bad thought it was rhetorical. The thug culture was pushed as a means to stir hatred and animosity towards one another. I would say its working well HUH?
If you look at the rap "stars" they pushed the thug culture, and the MSM was more then happy to help it along. Hell even the names of the rap bands had thug in the title.
MTV started pushing it in the mid to late 80's does MTV even show music videos anymore?
The reason I do not watch TV is because they use it as a way to propagandize the public.

Murder is murder no matter who it is, so 31k babies killed is not a good thing.IMHO :werd

It would be more space efficient if you would put all the things you hate about African-Americans in one message.

That is total bulls*** and you know it !!!!!!!!!

There are projects like

Strong African American Families Project
The Los Angeles MBDA (Minority Business Development Agency) Business Center
USC’s Neighborhood Academic Initiative
TRiO programs
etc etc

But you wouldn't know about projects like these because your knowledgebase about the black community is Fox News

I think its wrong they are being murdered and i hate them? srsly you need to rethink my position

They've been doing so well voting for your whore of a party.

It's damn near criminal what you've done to them.

I was laughing at your plea to help them help themselves by taking away a fundamental right? So, what happens to these babies that are not wanted? Do pray tell.

Are you not admitting that blacks only support those who give them some handouts?

How about supporting politicians who want what is best for the entire country and not only those who gives you more stuff.

Well, there is a nice ****ed up culture. GG.

rac·ism (rā′sĭz′əm)
n.
1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.

You do realize those groups are racist right? any group that targets only one group or race is racist....
NAACP racist also
La RAZA racist

I don't deny that Democrats in the south were racists. What do you think of our founding fathers??? That's history as well.

Really ???

Well at least I know that your knowledge of black community came from a comedy skit by Chris Rock :doh

Generally speaking people are weak and are looking for an easy way out. When the government tells them they will provide them assistance they will gladly accept it. One of the reasons government grows is that politicians use peoples nature against them.

The news is sad, and the resulting back and forth is also sad.

The reality is we're going to have a bad and sad situation whether we continue to allow abortion in most cases or if we change to disallowing abortion in most cases. There's not going to be any simple quick fix.

On one hand, you're looking at 30K+ lives that will never actually come to be. On the other hand, you'd be looking at 30k+ children born to homes where they're not wanted, can't financially support it, or some other less [Romney]"Ideal"[/Romney] situation and thus likely creating a drain on society OR causing a child to enter into a horrible disadvantaged life.

It's an unfortunate damned if you do, damned if you don't situaiton that we've gotten ourselves into in this country.

There's not a doubt in my mind that people are less concerned with the notion of getting pregnant since there is a relatively simple "out". There's also no doubt in my mind that if abortoin is made illegal there will still be a sizable percentage of those 30k+ instances that would still had pregnancy occur.

The problem we're having isn't necessarily one of laws, but of culture. Because this debate is so polarized and so emotional you can't even tend to get reasonable middle ground to be understood.

Yes...contraception is a GOOD THING. Yes, people should be made aware of contraception and we should make it as accessible as possible. Even if you think that will make more people have sex, the better and more important question would be if that meant more people who were having sex used protection. I'd take 100 people having sex and 90% of those using protection over 50 people having sex and 50% using protection.

Yes...abstinence being the safest and best choice should be highlighted. Sex should not be constantly portrayed in society as a hobby akin to going out and playing basketball. Abortion should be viewed with some social stigma and a means of dealing with an emergency and NOT a relative routine thing that can be relyed upon if a mistake occurs.

Those 30k abortions were going to have a largely negative impact in some fashion REGARDLESS of the law on abortion, because our society has created a situation where you could even get to that many unwanted pregnancies in a community in a single year. That's the sad part to me; that we've allowed ourselves to go so far down the road that we're faced with this damned if you do/damned if you don't situation.

Born and raised in the suburbs outside Flint, Michigan. Yeah. I've seen the inner city.

I've seen stores with wooden boards where windows used to be. I've seen the graffiti. I've heard the noises and bangs. At 17 I drove a co-worker home who lived on MLK Boulevard. Now that's ghetto. Every major city has a road named after Dr. King that's just one giant slum.

So driving through the inner-city to drop off a friend make you understand balck people..... got it

Really ???

Only part of it came from that. The rest came from simple observation.

Let's face it - the overwhelming majority of the lowest common denominator in black culture would rather listen to 50 Cent talk about smacking around bitches than listen to Dr. Bill Cosby encourage his people to lift themselves up and rise above through self-empowerment.
