Obama blames media for 'caricature'

I wouldn't expect the next Republican President to go on MSNBC, if MSNBC shows as little class in reporting the truth as Fox News has.

If?

Democrat confirmed. That was easy.

Yes, "if". We don't have a Republican President and haven't for many years now. This means we don't know how MSNBC would treat our hypothetical Republican President. Thus "if".

The fact you think I'm a Democrat is hilarious, though I must say it's typical of people who can only play team politics.

So the "if" only matters since obama's first day? Why did you pick that day?

I didn't say that either. Why can't you discuss what I actually say?

It works both ways. I wouldn't expect the next Republican President to go on MSNBC, if MSNBC shows as little class in reporting the truth as Fox News has.

Why would I make a hypocrite out of myself?

A) Republicans have been whining about "liberal media" for decades.

B) There wasn't a Democrat run news station at the time who has sunk to the levels Fox News has.

C) Don't think your attempt to shift the argument away from where you were wrong went unnoticed.

If Republican media wouldn't lie all the time and miscast him as someone he's not, Obama wouldn't have to say anything about the media. It works both ways.

Rhetoric

Is this the best we can expect from Obama for the next few years? Him whining about how nobody understands him and about how that darned right-wing media is saying bad things about him?

Good Grief!!

He's worried about his legacy at this point. It's not working for him.

I think it is more than that. He got where he is by looking a certain way and having a gift for scripted oratory, by knowing the right people who could further his career, and by following the rule book they provided. Unfortunately, those radicals who groomed him know or care nothing about a free people who govern themselves as the Founders envisioned, and they don't have a clue what makes such a society work. Not that they intend for such a society to continue.

So now we have a country in decline, almost exclusively due to the rules those radicals gave him, and what I believe to be their intent is working, i.e. destroy the economy and the entrepreneur to make big government increasingly necessary and increasingly move the power to a central government until that government is all powerful and no longer has to follow any rules but its own. But in the process, while the people are still allowed to express their discontent, they do express their discontent. And what the rulebook writers didn't count on was that fearless leader has a fragile ego. Deep down he knows he doesn't have a clue how to run a country and that he is utterly incompetent in every aspect of it. But he wants to look good. He thrives on the adoring crowds, the applause, the flattering headlines. And he simply lacks the maturity to not complain and not point the blame at others when he is criticized and accused.

Of course it works when those who slavishly grovel at his feet accept that others are to blame and continue to believe his failures have nothing to do with him, his policies, his leadership style or lack thereof.

So we can use MSNBC from the Bush presidency?
I have no idea if MSNBC lied as often as Fox News has about Obama. I suspect we can the next Republican president, however.

Not interested since a republican was in office?

How much has each lied?

Didn't care as much about politics at the time, due to age and real life.

How about you do your own research?

If you were off topic, then I was. But you would need to be off topic. Are you?
So you admit you were off-topic. Could you join me back on the topic of Republican presidents and MSNBC?

So, you were off topic. Glad that has been settled.

It was my response to the thread topic. I'm not surprised you would think that's off-topic.

Again, you just confirmed you were off topic.

"Obama blames media for 'caricature'"

It would certainly be positive to see some politician somewhere take responsibilities for all of his or her actions. Politicians must be some of the weakest people on the planet - all of them, regardless of political party.
