Well this should be interesting.

He's been threatening to do it for months, but it looks like Rand Paul is finally ready to sue the Obama administration for the NSA's mass surveillance programs.
Paul will announce on Fox News Friday evening that he plans to file a class-action lawsuit against Barack Obama and National Intelligence Director James Clapper over the NSA's bulk metadata collection, making good on his promise to take the president to court over revelations of the spy agency's expansive domestic snooping. Although no court documents have been filed in the case yet, Paul's advisers told Daily Intelligencer that the Senator's legal team is currently drafting a complaint claiming that the searches violate Americans' Fourth Amendment rights, and plans to file the suit "soon," likely in D.C. District Court.

Ok, he likes sea food!

Don't know if he has a case or not...but I LOVE that he is trying.

Rand Paul's strongest detractors in this action will, as usual, be the Republican establishment RINOs, who simply want to be left alone to surrender in peace and quiet.

The ones who have been big supporters of the NSA for a long time. Peter King ran to FOX news to spew his angst over the NYT supporting Snowden and called Snowden a traitor and the NYT his accomplace. Now he'll have to run back over to include Paul in that.

Well I have to say I am not normally a fan of Rand compared to his father, but in this case I must applaud him.

He is from my state and I support him 100%, he would be a great President to get us back on track as a nation

Rank will have trouble getting reelected Senator, just like Turtle.
Especially with PPACA such a success in a state where it is not sabotaged .

Watch the RINO-primary of Amash in Michigan.
There are four total RINO-primaries so far and Rove is actively courting more.:popcorn2:

just because our idiot governor says it is a success does not mean it is, the medicaid sign ups far exceed the paying customers.

Social Security success was measured after 3 months, NO?

Your governor is one of the good guys and will bring down both GOP Senators.

Wow, PPACA has a fan!

Hopefully it will have at least 40 million more fans, those uninsured.

The Kentucky governor will be a fricking hero.
But watch the right-ists go after Beshear.
And me .

Rand Paul Is Suing the NSA -- Daily Intelligencer

Civilians should be fighting that fight in the court system. Rand Paul should be doing it in Washington and not through the courts. He can support a lawsuit but I do not think it is his duty to fight the NSA in this manner.

Rand Paul is a civilian. Lets hit the NSA from every possible angle.

he's a stupid ****, everyone that lives here knows that

Then why on earth did they elect him?

Exactly, probably the same way the stupid **** got elected that is in the white house

The opposing party is going to run a weak candidate against the incumbant? That'll teach those incumbents!

Fortunately, as a foreigner, you have no say as to how we run our country.
