Lebanon says that Saudi Arabia' intelligence agency is responsible for the bombing outside of their embassy.

BEIRUT: Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah said Tuesday he was convinced a Lebanon-based Al-Qaeda group with direct links to Saudi intelligence was behind last month’s deadly bombing outside the Iranian Embassy in Beirut.

In a live interview on OTV, Nasrallah also took aim at Saudi Arabia over the kingdom’s policies on Iran and Syria, saying Riyadh was maintaining a hostile stance toward Tehran despite Iranian efforts for rapprochement and seeking to derail the planned Geneva 2 talks aimed at ending the Syrian conflict.

“We believe the Abdallah Azzam Brigades’ statement about the bombing ... this is a bona fide group that has a Saudi Emir and its leadership is directly linked to Saudi intelligence,” he said.

“Some of the branches that endorse the Al-Qaeda logic have been put into action by Saudi intelligence,” Nasrallah said, accusing the Saudi agency of operating Al-Qaeda-like groups in several parts of the world.

Heya Monte.....it wouldn't surprise me. Lately the Saudis have been flapping their gums. Hopefully US Politicians hear and Really understand whats coming out of the Saud and the Sunnis' Mouths.

Myself.....I wouldn't put up with any of their **** stirring anymore. Which I would make it known to them. Then tell them do something about it. Please......jump an act like a fool. I'm waiting.

Oh who cares. Let them kill one another.

That region is nothing but a headache.

Hi MMC, yeah for sure, they clearly are unhappy with the way things are going with regards to Iran and Syria, but like you I say too bad.

Ok, sure. But much of it is of our doing. While their problems predate the existence of America, in our short history and particularly throughout the past century, we have been in the Middle East, redrawing the map and interfering with the internal affairs of nearly if not all the countries there, often times pitting one against the other, loading the gun and handing it to one to shoot at the other and then vice versa, as well as both covertly and overtly forcing the overthrow of governments or as the White House loves to put it, "regime change". So........................we bear our share of responsibility.

Responsibility yes, but at the same time, we are essentially fighting a wall and expecting victory.

Point. Maybe we should stop fighting the wall. But then that's probably what you meant. :)

Bingo. No sense in fighting a war that cannot be won. Pull back, dig in, and let the cards fall where they may. We are delaying the inevitable, nothing more. Eventually, we will withdraw, can't be there forever. Look at Fallujah. We leave Iraq in the control of the government, they lose a major city within 2 years to the very people we fought against for years. For what? Riding the high horse off into the sunset, trillions in debt....only for it to fall back into the same hands, back into the same scenario that has been going on for god knows how long.

The dam will eventually break, no matter what you do, the day will come when it breaks. When it does, the water will flow, as it has since the beginning. Nature always wins. The nature of that region is violent, tribal warfare. If they weren't fighting us, they would be fighting each other. This is what they do, tigers cannot change their stripes.

Sunni Muslim terrorists bomb Shi'a Muslim terrorists in an offhand attack on the world's A#1 financier and state sponsor of terror and it's America's fault?

Mmmmmmkay....

But in other news, did you read earlier in the week that al Q had retaken Fallujah?

I was praying that that would start an Iran/Iraq holy war somehow, and at that time it was also a "nice to have" that Saudi Arabia somehow gets roped into things. Looking more and more likely.

I'd love to see the whole ****hole go up in some epic conflagration.

Just at the point in time when China's economy is beginning to stall because, among other things, they can't get enough oil to feed the machine.

Look for things to get real vis a vis the Senkaku/Diaoyu Islands, Spratley Islands and Paracel Islands real soon.

And all of this, oh ****, just as the United States is becoming a net exporter of oil and petroleum products for the first time in over half a century.

The way things are shaping up, we couldn't have come out ahead any more nicely if we'd tried.

The sad thing, though, is that we didn't try at all.

All of this occurred despite our best efforts, really, to prevent something like this.

Knowing our government, we're gonna get ourselves involved somehow and instead of another American Century we'll come out the biggest losers.

Does that thought that the current instability in Africa and the Mideast is a well planned agenda by our (USA) Intelligence Agencies to create profit opportunities for Corporate Amerika? Iraq, Libya, Syria, Egypt, CAR, etc. Of course they are all strategically important to Big Energy Corporations and it might just be creating marketing opportunities or creating power vacuums that can be manipulated for profit. See, that's Capitalism/Corporatism/Fascism, or is it? It's an agenda, not an Arab Spring.

Yeah, it's really sick too, to have spent big blood and big treasure. I feel very thankful that I don't personally know anybody who's blood was spent on that bull **** or I'd be even more pissed.

Hey, I agree Dave and I'm with you on that 100%. I'm just meeting this guy where he's at, and if people have to look at it that way to feel motivated to stop it, I consider it better than talking over the fence to some of the others that at this late date, STILL want to go forward in the ME based upon domestic propaganda.

Hezbollah, sure.
