Gov. Walker Ask Supporters To Not Spend Xmas Money on Toys; Send it to Him

OMG, someone HAS differentiated between the two AND corrected the wording of that link. NO ONE asked ANYONE to forgo gifts on the Obama blog. That is what the Walker worker did ask from supporting in a direct Emailing.

I understand partisan blinders but they are worn to the SIDE not in front!

But do ignore her and Kriesser's bigoted hate speech, and just continue to OMG this...

Hah, no, dude. The Obama site asks you to set your gift registry to his campaign site. It is really really sad that you would go so far into the weeds to try and defend Obama on this while faulting Walker.

From the Obama campaign site:

"Let your friends know how important this election is to you. Instead of another gift card you'll forget to use, ask your friends and family for something that will go a little further: a donation for Obama for America."

This is the exact same thing Walker said. Recover a little bit of unbiased cred and just admit it.

This kind of reminds me of the douchebags that suggested Thanksgiving time was a good idea to pick a fight with family members over Obamacare.

I agree with ending the capitalism involved with the holidays. Now if we could just get politics out of it we can get on to what is important. Football games.

More selective quotes, a part of the money you'd spend, not as the wording of the link sending us to the CBS story tried to imply- all the money. Taylor implied buying presents, not gift cards, for your children is a waste of your money.... FYI there is a bit of a difference between someone posting on a blogger site and the HEAD of a Campaign site, if we are to keep some of your 'unbiased cred' going... ;)

FYI I have said NO THING bad about Walker over the 'no gifts for the kids' posting.

Where I raise an eyebrow is this woman was kept on for a year after posting some very bigoted Tweets about F'ning Mexicans, and Walker's political appointee in the DOT saying when he sees illegal immigrants he sees Satan.

Well that and the CON game of running to find something close to show 'they do it too' instead of the personal responsibility CONs love to talk about rather than actually do. :2wave:

I'm going to call you crocodile since you are up to your eyeballs in denial.

But seriously, you are making a fool of yourself.

The Affordable Care Act is U.S. law whether you like it or not.

Deal with it.

I'm not the one backing the failure. You're a cold hearted man, millions lose their healthcare...

I like that slogan though. "ACA is LAW, DEAL with IT!" That should be the DNC platform!

I'm more an Everglades sorta critter, nice try though. As for foolish, I'd say the CON game of 'they do it too' rather than just manning up and showing some of that personal responsibility CONs go on and on about is just so sad. More CON mouth and no CON backbone.

Still I am left to wonder why this woman, a hottie for sure, was given a pass on her f bomb laced Mexican hate tweets from 2011 when the DOT Dude was canned in three hours- if the Walker Talkers are to be believed- after his face book post....

She must have some skills....

Actually 1% of all Americans have to shop for new INSURANCE, I didn't lose my healthcare at all.... more CON crap.

And as I have been self employed for decades, now the ACA website's explanations of how the plans work, what they cover and payment options was clear as an alpine day compared to the bizarre language and half-assed agents I have had to deal with for decades.

If you had to buy your own insurance you'd see the myriad of half assed coverages the old plans had. If you want to go with over the top rhetoric- MILLIONS of hard working Americans have lost their credit rating, gone bankrupt and had to fight back to have any sort of credit due to what a standard old school plan didn't cover.

Don't you all love how the statist trivializes 5 million people so easily?

The same Democrats who have been trying to cover over 40 million uninsured and give those 5 million under-insured "real" policies..

More CON games. I trivialize the over the top rhetoric claiming anyone has lost 'healthcare'...

Yeah, you're right. The numbers would have been much higher had the law been followed as it was written not changed by presidential decree. Just wait till the employer mandate kicks in, so convenient that it's AFTER the 2014 elections...

Again more CON games... no one is losing 'healthcare' as you tried to claim. The numbers games is just more CON quibble. Some CONs are too impatient, play small ball. The 2016 elections should be your focus. Raise your sights.

I got a cancellation notice. My new plan that now includes dental as well is almost half as much. Oh and it is with the same company same doctors and all. Now I just have to find a dentist

aww arent your lies cute? I bet its cheaper and lowr out of pocket too! You are so full.of it

So it appears this was the work of an aid who has been fired.

From the same link:

Look I don't like Walker as a politician, but even I have a hard time believing a politician would commit political suicide like this.

[h=1]Obama Campaign: Instead Of Wedding Gifts, Give Money To Us[/h]
...“Got a birthday, anniversary, or wedding coming up?” the campaign wrote in a blog post. “Let your friends know how important this election is to you—register with Obama 2012, and ask for a donation in lieu of a gift.”“It’s a great way to support the President on your big day. Plus, it’s a gift that we can all appreciate—and goes a lot further than a gravy bowl,” the campaign wrote...

Again you are running a CON game- insurance not healthcare. No ONE is going to lose healthcare- will have to change insurance plans- but not denied healthcare. CONs need to start talking straight. We much prefer our Bronze plan than our old one. Our old one had gaps in coverage- many parts of a surgery wouldn't be covered 100% and those costs would be tens of thousands of additional dollars. FYI that is pretty standard in the cancelled plans.

Wait till uou have to meet your deductible. And I figured out why you cannt keep up. No one, not me, not the GOP is saying anyone is "losing their healthcare". You are playing a losing semantics game.

You are trying to play the CON game but this is where YOU claim 'millions lose their healthcare', not me- semantics my 4th POC!

I have had private insurance for decades, i've had friends go bankrupt for all the not covered parts of routine medical procedures- surgeries are the worst! I'd much rather meet the 12K family deductible and then be covered 100% than my old plan, which had a high deductible as well, that ONLY covered the gas passer at 20% of the surgeon's rate and his assist at 40%. (that is how my buddy went bankrupt- those two guys and the over the coverage amount for the hospital stay itself ruined him.

The best I can say about the insurance CONs sing the praises of is it gives the doctor's and hospital at least some of their money where an uninsured person is a true crap shoot on collection.

Nice try but you deny what you yourself posted and obviously have no clue what the old insurances covered- and far more to the point- what they didn't.

I used healthcare as in insurance. People ARE.losing their insurance and being forced on to plans that may not meet thier economic or healthcare needs. Keep playing word games, you are losing

LMAO, now who is the tap dancing crocodile???? YOU just claimed to not have used the word HEALTHCARE and when shown your own words try and dodge away- typical.

There is this word 'INSURANCE' and this word 'HEALTHCARE'- they are NOT interchangeable but the CONs are trying to do just that, slide one word in for another to try and hype the situation. Just the CON game come to town. HEALTHCARE exists with or without INSURANCE- you and the other CONs are trying to twist the truth.

More CONery from you- vague claims with no facts- 'may not meet'???? YOU are playing the word game and losing badly! :doh

I know many Americans who thought their old INSURANCE was good would be ruined by a major HEALTHCARE issue. You make up a false threshold with the deductible as most old insurance plans have rather high deductibles, co-pays on most things, and a co-insurance scale after the deductible is met with BIG lapses in some key areas. (the hospital, HEALTHCARE, was under NO obligation to accept the INSURANCE company's level for all services/labor (HEALTHCARE) and WILL bill the patient for the difference, many folks who thought they were covered get a supplemental bill for everything the INSURANCE company didn't cover )

I have a good deal of experience negotiating with INSURANCE companies on plans, with Hospitals and doctors (HEALTHCARE) on billing- save your very ill-informed opinion, and no HEALTHCARE isn't the same as INSURANCE. One is medical treatment, the other is one way you pay for it....

You know that is different right?

Totally different. After all, It's a wedding, anniversary, or birthday. Not Christmas.

Both sides have tasteless members that have attempted to insert supporting political campaigns where they don't belong. nor, apparently is it "political suicide" to do so.

That sums up the issue very well, and without hype or accusations about whose "side" is worse. Good job.
