Harrison Okene was the cook of the doomed vessel.
He found an air pockets inside the ship 100 feet down.
The ship was deep enough that the divers were using an oxygen/helium mix to prevent the bends

Harrison Okene Rescued From Sunken Ship After 3 Days Trapped Under Sea (VIDEO)

Saw this earlier on CNN.

Just amazing!!! Can you imagine what was going through the guys mind when he saw the diving helmet with the lights coming at him after being in total darkness that long????

Wow- thanks for posting. Very fascinating story!

Wow, that was awesome. Thanks! I particularly loved the theme music to The Great Escape at the end. Fitting. I just can't imagine experiencing the terror he endured.

OK, make a long story short. How did they find him and rescue him?

They knew where the ship has sunk. The divers were there to recover bodies.
then it was OMFG he is alive!! The rest is easy. Give him his own helmet and get him to the diving bell. Decompress for 60 more hours and BOB IS YOUR UNCLE.
