Supreme Court refuses to hear case against NSA

Bush isn't president. Is this just more, "but...but...but Bush did it'"?

No, it's more of the "Neither side is doing anything to stop it" mantra. Bush did do it, didn't make it right. But likely no one you will support will change it. Your initial comment is a polarizing comment made only to make the other side look bad with the hope no one questions your side. Partisan politics is a tool used to deceive. Obama is just a continuation of Bush. Rationally and logically no one who liked Bush could hate Obama and vice versa. And so I was just pointing out that your comment condemning Obama's actions is hollow. So long as the Republocrats remain in charge, it won't change. Neither R or D will make that call to reign in the NSA.

I never claimed otherwise. Do you have a point??

Did you not read? The point is that your criticism is moot so long as you keep supporting the problem.

True, but the framers left us a means to legally change the constitution and that is by amendment. It is not by interpretation to change the meaning of what was written to suit a judges whims of what should be. It is like the law, the administration is suppose to enforce the law as written by congress, not to change it. By imposing interpretations of the constitution that is not there or meant or by choosing not to enforce the law as written or deviate portions of it, we have ceased being a nation of laws governed by the constitution.

Time to pick up the granddaughter from school, I shall return.

Which law do you think is not being enforced?

I'm crticizing people who are bitching about the Supreme Court not doing something about NSA spying, instead of bitching about the NSA's boss not doing something about NSA spying. The NSA belongs to the Executive Branch, not the Judicial Branch.

Seriously... ?

This was the natural conclusion of all the extended and overreaching powers that Congress granted itself following 9/11 when the approval rating was high along with the emotional hysteria. The higher they raised the terror alert rating the more rapidly people clamored to give up their rights to the government.

So like I said, live it up.

OK. Fair enough... you have a point. I apologize.

No need to apologize. We live in complicated times... I just think the origin of the problem is rather simple.
