Mother Jones Shocker: 'New Poll Shows Democratic Incumbents in Big Trouble'

Why would anyone vote for Christie? The Socialists are likely to have Clinton to vote for. And it is clear that Christie and an establishment republican like McCain, Dole, Bush....

Well, aside from the fact that even American Democratic Socialists are wattered down socialists, they would vote for Clinton only if they considered it a strategic vote where they could get more from her than from the other major party candidate.

Establishment Republicans is where it's at, brother. That Tea Party nonsense isn't as good as the elite.

Eh, let's not go that far. But it's interesting you would actually consider voting for him.
I doubt many Democrats would, however.

I will agree that most Democrats wouldn't vote for Christie but he would get some votes from registered Democrats and I believe that he could be the person that replaces Obama.

In this year's race 23% of New Jersey Dems support Christie.

  1. NJ poll: 59 percent back Chris Christie

Republican Gov. Chris Christie's lead in the New Jersey gubernatorial race against Democratic state Sen. Barbara Buono has slimmed slightly, ...:peace

They will be fine, just need to promise a few more free things.

Yes... Demokrats are doing just fine... that's why 10 Socialist Senators are trying to get ObamaKare delayed.

There aren't 10 Socialist Senators. That word does not mean what you think it means.

If he removed the zero, he would be more on target.

Tell us when the next member of the GOP will move into the White House.

You don't control the U. S. government if you don't control the White House.

The clock is ticking on the out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

The clock ticking is the economic implosion of massive debt and unfundable liabilities. Wait till the world says "Yeah, no, don't want to buy your treasury bills friend". That day is looming, and when it hits... I hope you and your family are ready cause it's going to be a hell like we've never seen. People who think gravy train forever are about to get the shock of their lives.

Come back in thirty years and tell us how the GOP is doing.

Status Quo Republican Liberals, SQRLS, have got to go.

If you wish to lose elections and decrease influence, that's your business. Leave the party. Third parties love that uncompromising image thing. It helps them get maybe 2-3% of the popular vote. ;)

Thinking as shallow as you have just demonstrated leads to failure consistently.

No, we have to seize control of the Republican party from the SQRLS. Reagan showed it can be done. In parallel we have to wage and win the Article V fight. This is heavy lifting. You might want to stand back.

Oh I'm sure his efforts were totally different from anything that Reagan Democrats and liberal Republicans wanted.

This made no sense. Reagan had to fight with and defeat the establishment Republicans. We will have to do the same. If it had not been for Reagan Bush never would have been president, in my opinion. All Bushes thus far have been establishment Republicans. On balance they have been bad for the nation, setting the stage for the current Monster.

Reagan Democrats were conservative Democrats. I don't know that they exist any longer. One can accommodate liberal Republicans only after we defeat them.

What historical mythology this is.

Incumbent approval EVERYWHERE is down. And then when people get into the voting booths ... they vote for the same old, same old.

Congress Dives, Anti-Incumbency Soars in Deep Post-Shutdown Criticism - ABC News

Cruz's antics during the shutdown are every bit as damaging to the GOP. Don't kid yourself, Zimmer. The ABC article says GOP incumbent approval is down; it doesn't mention that GOP incumbent approval was much lower to begin with. Selective reading of polling data isn't good for you.

Democrats' net disapproval in that poll was 61 percent; Republicans was 77.

True dat. Across the board, Americans have a piss poor opinion of congress when approval polls are taken. But it's always the OTHER congressmen. Not our's. LOL!

The 47% that are already collecting.

Ahh. All those retired seniors and deployed combat troops you guys despise so much for not paying income taxes. Got it.

No I pretty much dislike mine too. The democrats have had trouble finding a candidate to field that wouldn't need a short bus to drive to DC. I am reduced to voting for the kook candidates.

No, the non working scum that sit at home bearing babies and drinking beer all day. Get off the high horse about the sick and elderly.

And you realize that some of that 47% that the right thinks as teet sucking worthless Americans are actually service members supplementing their income right?

Then you aren't talking about the 47% then cause not all of them fit that description.
