Hillary Clinton left the State Department with a sky-high approval rating. With her broad appeal and presumed White House ambitions, the conventional wisdom, supported by early polls, suggested she would roll to the Democratic nomination in 2016 and then trounce whomever Republicans trotted out to face her.

Yet less than a year removed from her old job, Clinton's popularity has fallen from its once-lofty heights, according to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll out this week.

Why is Hillary Clinton's popularity sliding?

It is sliding because she played on the dishonest team.

Funny, that is not any of the reasons listed in your source. In fact your source has actual thought out reasons, primarily that people are not real happy with any politicians right now.

Funny, the great thing about America is I don't have to mirror my opinion to anyone else's. Only programmable people feel that way.

You should at least offer some evidence for your opinion. Linking to a story and then saying well, it's true except the parts I don't like, and I don't like them because it is not the narrative I want to sell isn't going to work real well, especially when your source provides actual reasons that make sense and fit with the facts.

Is it because she's a lying POS ??

Despite party affiliation I am uneasy with politicians that carry an excess of power or political influence. Politics is a filthy game and our government reeks with scandal we will never know about.

Again, i will type S_LO_W_E_R this time, the source only provides a foundation for opinion, I am not required to agree or disagree with the piece which is someone's opinion, not facts. The following you tube is for your benefit:

It is sliding because she played on the dishonest team.

It is true she has slide since she left State, but being out of the limelight probably has a lot to do with that. But compare her to these others in the same NBC poll.

These figures only include those who approve or disapprove, but not those who are neutral or have no opinion.

President Obama 42% approve 51% disapprove minus 9
Speaker Boehner 21% approve 43% disapprove minus 22
Senator Reid 17% approve 34% disapprove minus 17
Senator McConnell 17% approve 28% disapprove minus 11
Senator Cruz 19% approve 30% disapprove minus 11
Hillary Clinton 46% approve 36% disapprove plus 10
Governor Christie 33% approve 17% disapprove plus 16

Make of these numbers what you will. But I find it interesting that everyone who was involved in the shutdown is on the minus side of the ledger. Those two on the plus are not so much in the limelight at least during the shutdown and had nothing to with the shutdown. Also note that the two people with the highest differential on the minus side are the two leaders of congress, Republican House Leader Speaker Boehner and Democratic Majority Senate Leader Reid.

hillary is no longer relevant
probably why she is now out and about, making public appearances

but come election season, when the public realizes they will get two clintons for the price of one, she will regain her winning form

the only antidote to that reality is for the GOP to get behind a charismatic moderate candidate who speaks to the average citizen. anyone seen that man or woman, yet?

because she's a corporatist, warmongering, lieing (Viagra rape Libyan troops under Qaddafi/ Bengazi en toto ) opportunist??

just my 2cents worth..

What a mystery.

I mean, what’s not to like. Iraq war vote. Patriot Act vote. Linked with health care legislation. Linked with embassy scandal. No real accomplishments to speak of.

I'm not a fan of Hillary, but I may vote for her just to see all the Right Wingers' heads explode when she wins :)

My favorite is she is the feminist who had to ride her cheating husband's coattails from point to point, never reaching any of them on her own. People who call her a champion of women really are silly.

sure, just like last time, as a front runner, when push comes to shove democrats chose a person with no real experience over her.

but this time her last name is guaranteed a victory.

You'll vote for her because she's a democrat progressive big government statist, just like you.

I see you pay about as much attention as my dog while she naps.

Sure, you are entitled to your "opinion" of why Hillary's popularity is declining; however, when you base it on nothing but your own personal prejudices (as opposed to, yanno, "Facts"), don't expect anyone to take your opinion seriously.
