John McCain Blames Tea Party For Government Shutdown

NOW..Once the Kochs spoke..
Not to mention the C. Krauthammer's of the world..
And H. Barbour weighed in with his disgust..
And to make matters worse for normal Repubs today, Cruz, Bachmann and the rest of the Kamakazie generals stoked the fire again at the 'Values Voters Summit'.

Obviously those folks in the first three lines are RINO's.

I haven't seen the specifics of why the Libertarian candidate for governor in Virginia was kept out of the next debate but he is getting 8%Especially with the Koch letter distancing themselves from this TeaTechnique and what happened to T-Bills Tuesday night

check who is hosting the debates on and whose dime... that'll tell you most of what you need to know.

the Koch brothers do not support Libertarians anymore, and haven't since the early 80's

I'm not sure why you have such a hard time separating the Tea party from Libertarians in your head..

I don't believe that's what most conservatives, outside those involved in tea party movement, think. I do see McCain as a republican of convenience. If he were another party he would be a DINO or a LINO or a GINO. I just believe him personally to be a crooked politician and do not trust his stances on any of the issues.

There is an unbridgeable divide between Conservative Republicans, who believe in small government and the Tea Party loons, who believe in no government. One side or the other will prevail. For the sake of the country, I hope its the former. It would be nice to have an opposition party not bat-**** crazy. But I think ultimately the loons will succeed in eliminating the Conservatives and they will destroy the party in the process.

What's the difference? Seriously.

Kochs are RINO's??Really??
They helped elected these TEAts but are now reeling them in after losing untold millions over Tuesday night??
Krauthammer and Barbour RINO's??LOL..
These guys are sane conservatives, not that I agree with most of their stuff.

It isn't my head, it's the TEA heads and the Libertarian heads..
For the future, Cruz has now made the 2016 Repub primaries a 2-man race, and Cruz isn't in it.
Btw, have you seen Reince Priebus?

actually you can find me criticizing the tea party since I joined this forum, and imagine the same is true for many others. And as was already highlighted, there was a marked shift in the tea party from it's earliest days, which was much more libertarian in character, to what it is today

And Speaker Boehner is really just a SINO..
Cantor is your Dear Leader..
As for Gohmert's comments about McCain today at the Values Voters Summit, save the tape RINO's and give him a RINO primary.

As for my 1st votes, I voted for REPUB. GOV. Ogilvie, who lost, REPUB. Percy for Senator, who won, and McGovern for POTUS who lost..
Not much revision around here about the Daley machine losing their credentials in 1972 after the disaster in Chicago in 1968.

I don't really understand the point you are trying to make

Evening Fiddytree, Does this mean you are an ole foggie too?
Seriously I don't see them being any more anti-establishment as our Founding Fathers did in their day. ;)

Until you consider George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, or John Adams.

Oh, if you have seen the accusations of being a hyperpartisan hack you would..
Locally, I'm 50-50 on the two parties, including my Repub. Congressman, who is being TEAt'd..I will work for him but it is a long story..
I especially enjoy the Four TeaCongressmen being RINO'd.

Well, you do come off as a hyper-partisan hack. But I still don't understand what message you are trying to convey

The point was to state who I have voted for in the past, certainly not a hyper-partisan..
My Air Force Dad was a Conservative Democrat and I swung to Lincoln Republican in 1972..
Now I am a Lincoln Democrat and will do all I can to prevent those from purposely sabotaging the Nation in my 5th year of retirement from Chem/Physics teaching.

Maybe you voted for them in the past, but that hardly changes how you come off here, in the present

Which reminds me of a phrase I like to use a lot: Present Moment Awareness..Which appears to be taking hold in DC..As for DP, all the back-and-forth revision over however many decades one chooses has subsided..I'll remention 'Lincoln Democrat'..

This appears to be what has happened over the last 6 or 7 years. It appears to be accelerating. The irony (one of many) is that the GOP gerrymandering has put a contingent of tea party nihilists in safe districts for the foreseeable future. So the GOP may be stuck with this Golem for a long time, and by then there may be no national GOP left.

the tea party doesn't seem to exactly believe in no govt, but no govt where ever they arbitrarily deem it, while excessive govt in other areas. And all without any sense of an underlying philosophy

McCain is a progressive just like Obama - no difference...

Progressive republicans and progressive democrats are both authoritarian - they just have different visions and ideas...

The Tea Party and Libertarians are the only ones who give a ****...

Really? GOP gerrymandering???

Do you even know who draws district lines?

You do realize that progressives do nothing but gerrymander here in Illinois right?? Democrats just made my district 5% rich, 25% middle class and 70% ghetto or, better yet "democrats."

If conservatives were so successful at gerrymandering as you claim they would be winning every damn election...

Do you even know what the **** gerrymandering is??

Since Republicans are going demographically extinct, there are so few left that even gerrymandering isn't an option in most states anymore They've already reached their gerrymander quota.

Do you know what the hell gerrymandering is? what it consists of? given the bold statement it appears you don't.

You act like "republicans" are somehow joining the progressive party when they're not...

The libertarian party is growing largely thanks to people like you and Obama.... Hell democrats are even joining us libertarians and starting to come to their senses....

The largest problem with both sides is the partisans and democrats have 10x more partisans than "republicans."

Not that it matters considering us on the non-progressive side would never vote for a progressive... What progressives have is the less educated youth vote and voter fraud and that is what put's them over the hump the majority of the time.

Maybe if we didn't let the news spread their liberal propaganda to the younger generations like the Fascists and Communists did in the 30s and 40s. . .

You mean like conservatives are fond of doing via chain emails, blogs, Breitbart, yadda yadda?

You bet we do Nick..This is the best one I've seen in 5 decades..
Democrats just made my district 5% rich, 25% middle class and 70% ghetto or, better yet "democrats.
There are exactly 30 of these m/M CDs in the USA..
If conservatives were so successful at gerrymandering as you claim they would be winning every damn election...
Though you call them 'conservatives', the Repubs won CDs 234--171, net 63 in 405 CDs by only a plurality of +3.2 million votes..The 30 m/M Dem CDs won by a plurality of 3.7M, giving Dems that overall lead of 0.5 M. Just the raw data..
Do you even know what the **** gerrymandering is??
Texas would be the best example of current textbooks..
Repubs currently have about a 2-1 on GM-d seats after the 2010 elections.
