Re: Did obama just blame the economy on race
You are correct. The breakdown of the Black family, with a large number of children raised in homes without fathers, along with generational welfare has done the trick. Few black men believe they are up to the task of being real men so they buy into the notion that they continually need help, which is of course not true.
Poverty and race are linked but not in the way you or Obama think it is.
For decades the Democrats have been pandering forthe support of African Americans buy basically buying their votes.
Those policies have led to a welfare system that enables generational dependency and that leads to poverty.
The break down of the African American Family and the failure of inner City schools and neighborhoods isn't because of some great White Racist in the sky or anywhere else, it's specifically due to the choices the people in those communities make.
Obama pushing the manufactured narrative of " the man keeping a brotha down " is one of the more irresponsible things this President has done.
He really selling African Americans short.
