Indiana GOP passes law making it a crime for clergy to perform gay weddings

I don't think the article writer correctly interprets the bill.

Best as I can tell, it's basically illegal when you sign the marriage certificate of a gay couple. (which Indiana doesn't recognize.)

I am not going to read that blog, I might want to get married to a guy.
I'm highly skeptical if any information about gay marriage from a blog that has the obvious goal of promoting gay marriage.

I beleive God made them that way.

God made them with free-will as He did Adam and Eve. When Eve and Adam sinned, sin nature became something that was passed down the line. So if you want to say they are born with a sin nature, then yes I will give you that, but they can choose to not live in sin as well. However, if you intentionally live in sin, you cannot be saved as there is no repentence.

Not according to the Bible.

After reading the Bible, I tend to think people who use the phrase "not according to the Bible" are full of crap. It is inconsistent within itself. It was not meant to be a literalistic rulebook and the people who try to use it that way inevitably embarrass themselves because they don't live by the underlying themes but they expect everyone else to live up to their particular interpretation of the specific parts they feel are important. I can honestly say I love the book because it brings out the glorious absurdity of people judging people for being people while at the same time trying to claim they are a better type of people.

Homosexuality is not listed as a sin in the bible. Jesus did love the downcast and persecuted. He'd more likely march in a Pride parade than protest gay marriage.

Then you clearly don't understand the Bible.

Actually it is called an abomination.

Is it OK to be gay so long as you remain closeted and celibate?
or are gays condemned regardless of what they do with their sexual orientation?

Just wondering.

I believe homosexual sex and heterosexual sex are equal as sin goes, and both are sins if you are not married. The difference is I can get married and sex is no longer a sin. Homosexuals cannot marry, so....

....so all Christians should support gay marriage in order to save the gays from sin.

Nope. The bible never says homosexuality is an abomination.

It does say that there are unicorns, it rains frogs and some dead guy nailed to a stick 2000 years ago will come back to life and rule the world.

Imagine that. People who don't agree with you don't understand the Bible. That must be rather convenient for your world view. You get to personally dictate who is right and wrong about a book you had no part in writing, editing, or putting together. I've known quite a few people who have made it their life to study the Bible and trust me, people like yourself have but a drop in the bucket understanding of the Bible. Your comments on this forum indicate as much because one thing that study of the Bible negates is the kind of self righteous certitude that you exhibit. I actually pity how oblivious you are to the effects of your own egotism.
