That's probably a better fit for her.

I imagine it's only a time before she moves to the Middle East's Al Jazeera network.

Well, isn't this special?

I a not a fan of Al Jazzera, a big anti-American propaganda outfit funded by American gasoline consumption, but interestingly its seen as way more mainstream in Western Europe and the English speaking world outside of the US than in America. Some even think its less radical than Fox News Channel, which is also co-owned by Middle Eastern oil sheiks. I think a big part of it is they operate two entirely different channels; the Arab language service that is used to drum up anti-Americanism in the Middle East and their toned down English speaking channel that is big in Europe, Canada and trying to make inroads into America most notably with the acquisition of Al Gore's Current TV. Our hard earned money funding the propaganda we dislike...but after all we've been conditioned to think we don't have the ingenuity to do any better and/or freeing ourselves from enslavement to the Middle East by ending the oligopoly of petroleum based transportation is communism so I guess we have no other choice.

Soledad's Morning Show was canceled in March due to low ratings and she has her own production company behind her specials. I suspect CNN with new management is going in a different, more familiar middle position than their overtly liberal commentary, which has not been good for ratings. Especially since all of the scandals have recently erupted with this administration.

Even if they do go middle of the road, the hard right will complain when they criticize a Republican.

Maybe so but I believe the extremes are the minority and that there are more viewers who want JUST the information and to form their own opinions. The problem with offering only one side of the debate is it gives you no context or reasoning.

Al Jezeera is a superior news organization. Much more informed views and in depth reporting of the world outside the US than any American network, rivaled only by the BBC. It's coverage of the middle east is clearly superior to the BBC in fact.

He must like the pro-Israel message on Fox.

al Jazeera is probably a better quality network than CNN.

In other words, she moved down the hall two doors.

I tend to think more than anything else, OPEC owership of Fox New Channel gives them a lot of control over conservative American politics and in particular the ability to encourage an oil only transportation energy mindset while ridiculing and otherwise discouraging alternatives as communist, unachievable, not ready, etc.

Of course that must be it. We all love oil because of Fox subliminal Arab messages.

Soledad started at MSLSD....... before it became MSLSD!

She shouldn't have to worry too much about wardrobe, make-up and hairstyles - burqas, hijabs and niqabs should take the guess work out of what to wear each morning. She is, after all, used to being the spokesperson for powerful muslim men, being an unofficial spokesperson for the Obama administration while masquerading as a journalist on CNN.

Hey, without CNN who would read twitter feeds to me!?

You've never actually watched AJ have you?

Her CNN show sucked so am not surprised she was shown the door at CNN.

Which means we won't see her much anymore in the states. This is a good thing.

I have never viewed an Al-Jezeera documentary, but I hope they would not be compared to the BBC. The BBC has promoted conspiracy theorist crap about American politics for a long time. It was so bad I thought they were more eloquent versions of Alex Jones. I'm not saying that the Fox News documentaries are anything to write home about (They aren't, because those are like if the History Channel-who also sucks- decided to do contemporary political documentaries and add more sucktitude to them), but at least they weren't enormously laden with conspiracy theorist trash.

@toddstarnes: Egypt's military raids Al-Jazeera - shuts down 3 stations. Any comment from Soledad O'Brian?

When is al-Jazeera ever getting around to terminating the Algore programming?
