Alec Baldwin using gay slurs

Clearly what happened here is obvious....Alec got mixed up and thought the writer was his daughter.
 
Does anyone believe Baldwin will appear on morning talk shows crying for forgiveness?

Oh come on. Feigned outrage by minority groups has become a full time hobby for these people. What would they fill their day with if we gave them nothing to bitch about? Frankly I'm surprised they have time to be producive members of society what with all the time spent running around pointing at people they are offended by.
 
Does the original report about the tweeting not bother anyone, that a "journalist" is so desperate for a slanderous headline that he would be monitoring the tweet activity of the wife of a mid-tier Hollywood personality for potential "scandal"?

Choice of words aside Baldwin is perfectly right to be enraged at such absurd minutiae, especially when his wife has a perfectly good explanation.

ADDED: not to mention that the whole basis of the report was the "journalist's" own lack of understanding of how Twitter works. No research = no problem, at least in the world of hack journalism.

I think they harass Baldwin for the very reason that he'll respond in such an intensely, bombastic manner. It makes for good sensationalist News to show Alec having another meltdown. All he'd have to do is keep smiling, nodding and not responding and they'd get bored with covering him. I wouldn't be shocked if he does it on purpose to keep his name in the hat.

His choice of the word "Queen" is reprehensible. As is his additional foot up the ass and liking it comment. But your point is well taken regarding the scum reporter. On the other hand, Baldwin's previous rants muddy the water.
 
Well, he didn't use a racial slur so maybe he can sell Capital One on the Food Channel.

You mean how Christians have been 'victimized' because gays are getting married? Or the way Palin was attacked just cause she was a woman? Or the way prosecuting rape is a "war on men" according to the WSJ?

That kind of victimhood?

I think some actually understand they really don't care about alec's comments at all which is why they have gone the paula route and are trying to turn this into a black on gay fight rather than a real fight on slurs. Others I am sure have deluded themselves into thinking that they really do care for homosexuals in this matter. Either way the only people being fooled are the fools.
