Nobody has claimed that. Obama is responsible for everything he has done. However, that does not mean he is responsible for everything ever done.

I am as much a critic of Obama as anyone but this one isn't on him.


The president has no direct impact on the program, and one could hardly call these devices "Obama Phones," as the e-mail author does. This specific program, SafeLink, started under President George Bush, with grants from an independent company created under President Bill Clinton, which was a legacy of an act passed under President Franklin Roosevelt, which was influenced by an agreement reached between telecommunications companies and the administration of President Woodrow Wilson.

Actually that question should be asked to those on the right. It's been proven that Obama didn't start the program and so far, noone can point to any SPECIFIC Obama policies on this program to promote corruption.

Or, once started, are all programs irretrievably carved in stone?

I think more of my dogs than that, but this could be fun. Try again. I love telling people of the "other" lean that they're wrong. It's probably pathological, but hey, Wiener is and believes he can successfully run for the Mayor of NYC. Given the current occupant, I can see his point.

I'm sure its REALLY fun telling the "other" side they're wrong, even when it turns out they're not.

That way you're always right. And that feels good.

Being wrong feels bad, but in conservativeland you never have to admit it.

You can just continue to utter the same falsehoods and your fellows will cheer!

Who cares about accuracy when you can have partisan confirmation bias?

Yet bet, Head. I'm having one tonight with cheap beer, and we'll all be counting teeth. Won't take too long. Doubt we'll hit the double digits, which is a relief. Takes too much ciphering when you get to the really big numbers.

Yep. And loving means never having to say you're sorry. Hillary took that one to heart, and passed it on to Ambassador Stevens. Prolly called Stevens on an Obamaphone that night.
