Exclusive: John McCain Slips Across Border Into Syria, Meets With Rebels

So what does McCain hope to accomplish with this visit? Does he think he's going to talk them down or something? I wonder how diplomatic he is? I like him and think he's actually kind of funny sometimes, but after comments like "Bomb, bomb, bomb-bomb, bomb Iran" I don't know how other Muslims might look at that.

Maybe he just finished watching "Charlie Wilson's War" and was hoping for a movie deal.

Yes I did. I'd repeat it, but the very article you just linked does it for me by explicitly stating they are separate groups. Maybe you missed it though, since the article didn't put that line in bold maroon font.

I'm not sure what fantasy world you live in whereby if a minority of FSA elements defect to Al-Nusra, then the FSA is under command of Al-Nusra, but that's one strange world.

How the **** should I know -maybe some friendly Sunni foreign groups smuggled them in? Maybe they captured them from the Syrian army who got them from the Russians? Or maybe the CIA accidentally "misplaced" a shipment?

Not quite.....no one stated anything about them being separate groups. Other than You.

There is no fantasyland when the Article points out there 29 Opposition groups Including Brigades and Civilian Committees that are backing Al Nusra. Nor when they Point out that FSA Commnaders will do as they are told by al Nusra. It's real simple if Al Nusra wants to launch an offensive and need people then they will tell the Free Syrian Rebels. That they have to work with them.

Also if they tell Idris to lick his elbow or kiss their ass. Then that's what he will do and do so willingly, and without hesitation if he doesn't want to lose his head.

Moreover no one is putting all the Rebels in a one size fits all grouping. There use to be 60 Opposition Groups. Now the majority are backing Al Nusra Not the FSA or the Free Syrian Rebels.

Thanks for letting me know you are under the Opinion that Idris and the FSA are better that Al Nusra. Myself.....I don't give them the pass after they got caught committing genocide upon Christians and using Children to launch offensives.

I'm sure his life would make a very interesting movie.
