You're the one assuming they wouldn't notify their boss (THE PRESIDENT) that the IRS was specifically targeting religious institutions, jews, pro life groups, and Tea Party groups for intimidation and harassment. Obama swore an oath to uphold the Constitution. his JOB is to protect the American People from enemies both foreign and domestic. So either he was notified and did nothing, or he's the most incompetent clueless President/Executive to ever hold office. Either way he's a failure.

You guys want to make this seem akin to Watergate. As you will recall, officials close to Nixon were the ones coordinating the break-ins and Nixon was unaware. It wasn't until he learned about them and proceeded to help cover them up that he became involved. So is it possible that close Obama officials directed the IRS to target specific groups without Obama knowing? YES. Is there evidence of Obama directly being involved in any cover up. NO.

We get it. You want to make the case that Obama is a clueless retard who knows nothing about everything. His most senior officials were notified in June and apparently they never notified him. If that's the case then why did Obama dodge the question on when he found out about it? He specifically mentioned the IG report when he was asked when he was actually notified when these groups were being targeted for harassment and intimidation. He chose to dodge the question.

If Obama is such an honest person why would he do that?

This is not about what officials were "doing". There you go with a strawman again. :lol:

Obama's senior officials were notified about what the IRS was doing. The IRS is supposed to be a non-partisan group. They are NOT SUPPOSED TO BE POLITICAL. You're aware of this yes? Your premise is a house of cards. Why would senior administration officials not notify Obama and insulate him from what the IRS was doing? What would they be protecting him from?

Secondly if this is the case then why did Obama dodge the question on when he was notified about what the IRS was doing? He specifically dodged that questioned and spoke about when he was notified of the IG Report which is completely different. Obama specifically said he only learned of this through the news. So that creates 2 problems with your premise

1) Why would WH council and senior officials NOT tell the President that the non partisan IRS was specifically targeting jews, religious institutions, pro left groups and tea party groups?

2) Why did Obama dodge the question when he was asked and specifically mention the IG report instead?

I don't have answers to those questions and right now, no one does. The problem here is too many people think they know the answers and are jumping to conclusions.
