Anthony Weiner Is Eyeing A Return To Politics

If Sanford can make a comeback, I don't see why Weiner can't.

Personally I wish they'd both just fade away, but...

Personally I hope both those mooks flame out and crash badly.

How does blatantly lying to the public "deal with his personal life"?
Lying about his personal life..

Also, why shouldn't we concern ourselves with how he engages himself in his private relationships?
Why shouldnt we care what religion our public officials are? Same reason. Its his personal life.

A person ether has integrity are they don't, The guy has proven he lacks personal integrity.
He is asking people to trust him, when he has shown he is untrustworthy.

Face it, people, we're all suckers when it comes to stuff like this.

Washington D.C. is full of people on both sides of the isle who have basically faked their way to the top. They have biographers and publicists who's job it is to create and mold their public persona and by the time it is crafted, packaged, and ready for prime time we are literally seeing an "artists rendition" of the person which far too often bares little resemblance to who that person is in real life.

To make matters even worse, when these people do have public moments when they "show their true colors", they have an army of apologists dumping stupid cliches on us like "nobody's perfect", "we're all human", and my own personal favorite, "everybody deserves a second chance"... and we're all too eager to lap it up.

Character should matter but sadly it doesn't.

Lying about his personal life..

in a rather ridiculous manner, to the public ... Clearly a predisposition to tell wildly unbelievable lies to the public, to escape the consequences of his actions, warrens the interest of that same public.

Well, if his religion consisted of taking advantage of his closest relationships, lying to them, and betraying their trust, it would spoeak to a rather deep character flaw that would clearly impact his dealing with the public

Honestly, this might be the first time I have ever heard anyone claim behavior and actions taken towards the public, have no bearing on job performance in a civil capacity
