On Monday, WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange released a series of 1.7 million files showcasing the communications of the US Department of State between 1973 and 1976. According to Assange, the documents will give journalists insight into the US' political goal at that time and highlights Henry Kissinger's communications with foreign governments.
