Goolsbee: March jobs numbers a ‘punch to the gut,’ cites sequester

Austan Goolsbee, the former chairman of President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, said Friday that the just-released jobs report is a “punch to the gut” and suggested that the tepid number of new jobs added in March is a result of the sequester cuts.

But it's not about the sequester. It can't be. It's about the payroll tax cut expiring.

In any case, it doesn't matter because gay marriage.

But not to worry- the unemployment rate is falling.;) Too bad it's because people are dropping out of the workforce, rather than because there are actual jobs.

Bush's fault in 3 .. 2 .. 1 ..

It's Bush's fault.

Its actually everybody fault in washington. No one talks about getting people back to work these days. The conversation is either about the debt, gun laws, or immigration. Neither side has said anything about jobs.

I mean WTF !!!
