Michigan Republican Faces Calls For Resignation After Anti-Gay Post

Dave Agema, who previously served as a Michigan state representative, posted an articleWednesday on Facebook that described the lifestyle of homosexuals as "filthy." It also listed"some statistics about the homosexual lifestyle," including: "Many homosexual sexual encounters occur while drunk, high on drugs, or in an orgy setting (7)," "50% of suicides can be attributed to homosexuals (10)" and "Homosexuals account for 3-4% of all gonorrhea cases, 60% of all syphilis cases, and 17% of all hospital admissions (other than for STDs) in the United States (5)." I mean seriously. WTF? As if straight people are immune to such pleasure? Every college age male in America dreams of such things. Sign me up Hoss!

Dave Agema is a one of a kind priceless American. In all my experiences working in the Michigan state legislature, he is in a class by himself. The State Rep I work for is a liberal democrat but he and Agema got along terrifically because they were both veterans who liked to drink beer and trade war stories.

Once we were invited to a after work dinner hosted by Agema (and paid for by a lobbyist - as is the usual custom). It was in a very nice restaurant in a private room. So the rep and I arrive early and the group is rather small. By some weird turn of events, everybody leaves the room and its just me and Agema. He looks at me and says straight out drop dead serious ... "I have fought socialism every day of my adult life."

So I thanked him for his service and he stopped the waiter and told him to get me a drink. It was a great evening and politics never came up. The main topic was UFC cage fighting about which he was very knowledgable.

and thats the truth. eace

This qualifies him as CPAC's next pick for the GOP's presidential candidate.
