That has been the main reason why the paul's have fought so hard for states rights. They don't actually care about state's rights, they just care about the fact they are more likely to have a prejudicial christian stronghold in the south if they kept the federal government from stepping in on a number of issues like gay marriage, Birth control, abortion rights, and in Ron's case i am sure segregation.

For quite a while, all the news talked about was gay marriage this, gay marriage that. It died down for a little while, and now the issue has been brought back from dormancy to slander some guy who hasn't got a snowballs chance in hell of being the next president. People need to **** or get off the pot already. I personally don't care if gay marriage becomes legal or not. It's just a filler meant to detract from the actual issues that need to be taken care of.

It was also extra tacky that gay marriage was pushed the hardest by the special intrest lobby during the election cycle, when there were real issues that impacted us all as a whole. Pretty sure that the war, the economy, our industrial and agricultural infrastructures, and world relations are a hell of a lot more important than something that won't even effect 1% of the US population. But no, the gay lobby had to jump in and make itself one of the top issues, like they're so godamned special. They aren't any different than the rest of us ****s just trying to get by on this sinking ship of a nation. They want to get married so badly, they can save up and take a trip to a state that will marry them.

And then you asked how would i feel well saying its a comedy show and whites have had a long history of killing blacks then i wouldnt feel too great and too cherry about it. But yea umm yea its SNL so if your butt hurt over it then i guess, ok.

LOL you complain that gay marriage took the stage over economics, jobs, etc. Gay Marriage did that because the RIGHT continues to rail against it. Maybe if the right just accepted that gay marriage is going to happen and legalize it, other important issues (as you claim) can be solved.

So if you hate gay marriage being at the for front, blame the right for not agreeing to legalize it.

I was married in Thailand at a Buddhist Wat, but I had my marriage certificate translated at JUSMAGTHAI SJA and the military recognized it as I went through the proper military channels to get their approval to marry. It wouldn’t have bothered me if my home state of Georgia recognized it or not. I love my wife.

In fact my oldest daughter married a Laotian man here in the Atlanta area, at a Lao Buddhist Wat, but no one recognizes their certificate except the wat and them. They have no problems living together, 4 kids. They file separate tax returns, their wills leave their stuff to their kids. Both work and have health insurance. Which insurance the kids fall under all depends which has the better coverage. The wife and me have done a lot of baby sitting over the years since they both work.

You seem more interest in benefits than love.

I have had a gay cousin for 48 years. Yeah I know they can't help it, that is the same excuse we here from pedophiles and serial killers.

LOL always love the comparisons of gay people to pedophiles from loony rightwing nutjobs. The fact of the matter is that gay people are normal just like everyone else. They just are attracted to the same sex just like YOU are attracted to the opposite sex. The only mental defect is people thinking pedophiles are the same as gay people.

Nobody controls who/what they are attracted to, including pedophiles.

The only real difference is some attractions are taboo to act upon.

Taboo because that behavior causes harm and/or violates the rights of others. Anything else is discrimination.
