Ehhh its a pretty big fact that right after an election the POTUS's approval ratings are high but then slowly begin to drop. What is most important is how far will it drop towards the end of his term.

And the president's approval rating remains almost 5 times that of Congress.

"Gallup is out with its latest survey of Americans' attitudes toward their elected leaders. As you can see from the chart below, Congress' approval rating is still hovering in the teens, only a few ticks away from the all-time low of 10 percent registered this time last year (and matched again in August 2012"

You mean people dislike the Democratically controlled Senate 4 times more than dislike the President?

I was not privy to your "special knowledge" that the Democrats control both houses of congress. When did this happen?

Which is why I largely believe we get the government we deserve! I think we will never see real change in government until we as society evolve beyond where we are.

Obama approval rating falling and less than 50%. It appears since the election has ended and the media isn't 24/7 attacking Republicans and praising Obama that a few more people are looking at reality rather than Hollywood media:

I guess that's what most matters in terms of priorities.

If things continue like this he is sure to lose to Mitt Romney in 2016. Oh wait, why are the reps still running against Obama again?

I wouldn't hold your breath, I'm not sure that we've evolved that much as a society.

Which is why it makes no sense to blame government for societies shortcomings.
