The Voter Fraud That ‘Never Happens’ Keeps Coming Back

LOL..........

So, without presenting a VALID IDENTIFICATION, who are you going to look for?

This case involved double voting, once in person, the other time by mail. How would presenting a valid ID prevent that? The person who voted was indeed that person. Double voting is prevented by comparing the rolls not using ID.

Further, pretending to be somebody you aren't and voting will show up as a double vote and be investigated under our current system -- as this case was.

The only way to commit significant voter fraud is in the registration process -- and the GOP has the lock on that kind of fraud.

NEXT DISCREDITED RIGHTWING MEME!

If they're joking about what they left behind, they'd be joking about where they're from, not Minnesota where they chose to live.

Let me try to bring this down to your comprehension level: The people in Wisconsin, Iowa and North Dakota have every right to joke about the Minnesota they left behind. Get it now?

People don't leave Minnesota for any of those states. It's the other way around.

Have you ever been to Minnesota, or is it just "that cold place next to Canada" to you?

Yeah, they do leave Minnesota. I'm one of them. Agreed that replacements keep moving into Minnesota, the welfare benefits are better than in more rational states and it's easier to game the system.

You seem to be afflicted with a serious compunction to constantly use the word "meme...."

Are you over the age of 18?

Translated: you can't discuss the topic and are fascinated with me and memes. Can't blame you.

Meanwhile, the rightwing meme that voter ID has anothing to do with voter fraud is rebutted AGAIN!

Convictions. Pure and simple. lets see em.

Why are you bringing up a requirement for so many of the Democrat voters?

Just Google Franken Felons, and you can here from them directly....

Alliteration: the last basion of a conservative losing ANOTHER argument on the merits.

Tell us how voter ID requirements would affect the case in the OP. Go into detail.

Do you have anything of substance to say? Can you, perhaps, address any of the points made in the article?

perhaps you could post something that is relevant

A simple "no" would have sufficed. Since you obviously can't actually address the points raised in the article, I'm going to stop responding to you now. Have fun posturing.

She admitted doing it because she wasn't sure her absentee ballot had arrived. You seem to be one of those people just convinced that voter fraud is rampant. Try dealing with voters some time - as I have done. Especially elderly voters. Nobody willingly risks years in jail just for the opportunity to cast an illegal ballot which has virtually no chance of affecting the result of the election anyway and which is easily detected. Really. Get serious.

I'm sorry, but if my second vote has "virtually no chance of affecting the result of the election anyway", how important or meaningless is my first vote?

So is a blog OK, is an op/ed OK?

See, I'm confused because in another thread I had Cons jumping all over me for complaining about the source (a Forbes op/ed), and not refuting what it said. But your'e doing the same thing here. Is this another "OK for Cons, not OK for Libs" thing, or are we all playing by the same rules?

We all play the same. Fox, huffington post, NYT, are all the same, they just lean different directions
