Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security has suspended the handgun carry permit of a local man who threatened to "start killing people" to protect his Second Amendment right.In a statement released Friday officials said they had suspended the handgun carry permit of James Yeager, CEO of Tactical Response based on "material likelihood of risk of harm to the public".

So the gun nut who said he would start killing people and would be glad to be the first person to shoot in defense of his guns "being taken away", got his permit suspended. All i have to say is thank you
 
He was stupid for making those statement publically and taking his permit was justified considering...hes since took back the statement...
 
Gee whiz, you start making statements about killing people, and get your CCW permit revoked. Why in the world would that happen, I wonder. What's next, similar sanctions against people wearing tinfoil hats to stop the voices? Maybe people researching bomb making materials and facing Mecca five times a day? How about someone carrying a sign saying "Die, N******s!" or something similar.
 
I am so glad his permit was revoked and lives were saved. I mean Im sure people who are serious about killing other people are sure to abandon the idea because their permit was revoked. :doh
 
I bet the NRA supports reissuing the permit to this gunnut. They have no shame.

Well deserved, yet I agree with Baralis, they took his card, he still has his guns.

He should still be able to do his job.

they're a gun rights lobbyist with an immense amount of public funding and political influence. Under current circumstances in Washington, they have little reason to compromise with anyone
