GOP makes $2.2 Trillion Counteroffer to Obama - includes revenue increases

Confused again...didn't you say this:

Which I questioned WHO ELSE was proposed to paying more...

I love it when you play ignorant.

I love it when you play ignorant.

I'm glad...but it has been difficult to keep up as you have jumped all over the place from general fund to social security to tax the rich to rich not paying for all of it to...?

My point was that those wealthy like Romney, who's income is primarily from investments pay a far less percentage of their total income on FICA than do median income workers.

So what? He pays 1000x more tax. A median income worker paid 10,000 in taxes. Romney paid 3 million. Did he get something more for his contribution?

The middle class and the poor are paying less because they have less. AS we found in the election, the majority no longer see any reason to continue to allow the tax cuts for the wealthy to continue.

the fleas see no reason for the dog to have a flea collar

what will you do when the rich unite and decide to squash people like you? you are doing a good job in creating such an environment

you should pay for what you use and stop whining that others should fund your existence your existence benefits me none at all so why do I have a duty to pay for someone who is conspiring to take more of my property?

he gets LESS

but the parasite or income redistributionist mindset believes that from each according to their ability (and their votes) is all that counts

You don't understand percentages do you? Counting FICA taxes, the median income worker pays a higher percentage of his total income in Federal and state taxes than do people like Romney.

As has become painfully clear to the majority of the country, a consumer economy cannot prosper when too much of the wealth is concentrated at the top.

the old from each according to their ability (and votes)

a country that caters to dependency and parasitic activity fails

its funny how you always try to justify your class envy arguments by appealing to the authority of the masses

All 2% of you? Sounds like quite the revolution! Wall Street on parade!

"We didn't start class warfare, we are ending it!!!"

You don't understand that FICA is not FIT, do you? Romney pays the maximum FICA tax (considerably more than most), and a higher tax rate than 97% of Americans.

Fixed that for you.

FICA makes up almost half of federal revenues, just as does FIT. The working class have to pay both based on 100% of their income. The wealthy, do not.

If the republicans ignore the public polls on on taxes like they did on the election, and continue to hold the middle class tax cuts hostage so the rich can keep their tax cuts, they will lose the House for sure in 2014. If that is their decision, I say Godspeed to them!

Thanks for the morning humor, ttwtt!

Care to actually couneter any of my points, with sources? It is easy to blow off facts as "humor" but that does not change them.

What you had to say didn't interest me enough to respond. Please try harder.

the wealthy pay far more of the tax bill than anyone else

you always want to ignore the actual dollar amounts

Wanna bet who has control of the congress after 2014?

I want you and the other conservatives continue to propose sacrificing the middle class and seniors to save the tax cuts for the rich. The elections will take care of themselves then.

where your posts are idiotic is your claims that taxing the rich more actually helps the poor and opposing tax hikes on those who already pay a hugely disproportionate share of the FIT hurts the poor

Your master has proven class warfare is his goal

and that is your's too

would you support a GOP plan that is just as likely to raise the same revenue as Obama's tax hike on the rich only even if the GOP plan did not raise tax rates?

Great debating technique - if you don't agree then simply reply with nonsense. If asked to clarify your disagreement then simply blow it off. You are a debate loser, enjoy (and ponder) that thought.

He normally refers to the masses and claims that trumps all logic

No, because there is not enough wealth left in the middle class to tax them any further.

Again, so what? We dont pay for hamburgers by percentage. It wouldnt be fair if Romney paid 1000x more for a hamburger, and its not fair that he pays 1000x more for govt.

False. The middle class accounted for 3 trillion in AGI, and only paid 138 billion in income tax. Thats leaves a lot of income to tax, nevermind wealth.

If the Republicans cause taxes to increase for the middle class to protect their rich pals tax cuts they will lose the House, so roll on GOP, roll on!!!
