Iran president congratulates Hamas on 'victory'

Depends on who "they" are. I'm not talking about the Israelis.

The Grand Pubah can't do crap to DinnerJacket. That guy can get through traffic like nobody's business. The "elite" Guards? Bah! Their general only has a master's, they'll never catch him.

lulz, I'm just saying. People in his position have a history of getting blown up when things aren't going well.

In free open elections GAZA elected a HAMAS government, and now Israel is upset???

You forgot something. After Hamas was elected, they slaughtered Fatah in the streets, thereby ending any democratic mandate that might have existed.

i dont approve any islamist regime , but iran will support hamas as long as it is seen as a threat .
Iran will also support Hamas as long as Israel keeps threatening Iran.

one thing is clear here: There was no victory for Gaza, nor will there be one in the foreseeable future. Israel could wipe out the entire middle east if they really needed to.
You just made Hamas's case for them.

What is hilarious is that getting ones' ass kicked is a victory.

Actually, while militarily Hamas may have lost the war, they one the real war, the political war. One must remember that the actual goal of war is to fulfill one's political objectives. Hamas won the political war, which is the real war. Perhaps somebody will explain to you the concept of cause and effect some day.

I realize your extreme dogmatism demands you engage in this particular brand of trurnspeak, but it is really incredibly stupid to suggest that Israel's reaction to Iran's open speculation on nuking them is the reason for Iran's support for a genocidal organization bent upon their destruction.

It seems you are referring to the Iran statement of "wiping Israel off the map" (?)It has been documented even by an Israeli minister in the NYT that no such thing was ever said.

No, I am not. Iranian Clerics have detailed their rationales as to why they seek to nuke Israel for over a decade.

Ah! OK. That's why I put the question mark after the first sentence. Thanks for clearing that up.

Extreme dogmatism. LOL! Somebody's PROJECTING...

For the record, it's unlikely that Iran actually "seeks to nuke Israel." Threats and chest pounding are a part of international politics. The key is determining which threats are credible and which are not. If nations don't distinguish carefully, they end up in decades long wars for no good reason.

I'm not projecting anything -- merely noting that which accounts for the fact that one who labels themself a "liberal" so disingenuously is indulging in an agitprop technique in which the target is portrayed as the aggressor, and done in order to show solidarity with the genocidal ambitions of those persecuting them.

Of course. I already know that Iran will not nuke Israel as not only would it ensure their own destruction, but it would also take out Jerusalem, a city holy to Muslims.

Oh, you're definitely projecting. How else would you have attributed a "dogma" and several arguments to me that I have neither expressed nor believed? None of what you have said about me came from me, so it had to have come from you. LMAO!

Cool, I just had to get that off my chest. :2razz:

....do you know that Armajinedad changed his name? He is originallly Jewish

He was also a Physics Academic prior to entering politics

All is not what it seems my friend

You may have to stop watching all those Hollywood movies and the mass media in the USA - they tend to distort the truth about issues

Who cares about any of that. He's still a frickin' nut job.

But may I add that your screen name is the best example of truth in advertising that I've seen on this forum. Even the mis-spelling is perfect!

they threaten each other but it will be turkey which is the victim of these tricks..

Yes, Turkey is always the victim, isn't it? :lamo this thread isn't about Turkey and they aren't the victim of anything.

To be fair, he's just a mouthpiece. The Grand Pubah rules as a despot.

True, the ayotollah is supreme...but that does not detract from him being an idiot
