If the GOPe Were Smart They Would Beg Gov. Palin to Come Back Into the Room | A Time For Choosing

If the GOPe Were Smart They Would Beg Gov. Palin to Come Back Into the Room

The answer for the GOP is to clean up its own act and address the real concerns of the majority of Americans, regardless of political affiliation. They can start by not shunning the members of their own party who have the credibility to speak on such matters. Reform in Washington is a winning message and has the potential to bring in voters from nearly every racial, gender, and economic demographic in the country.

They actually believe this...

To the OP:

I'd never heard of that term you used in your thread title: Evangels, so I looked it up.

spanky, I think I am safe in supposing that you don't mean that a gospel might have its head in its ass so I assume you are talking about actual evangelists. Am I correct?

If so, I would ask you how you can possibly make a connection between evangelists and the article you presented? I didn't see anything in the article that implied a religious underpinning. Perhaps you, somehow, connect all Republicans or conservatives with religion? Does that mean you don't think it's possible that a religious person can be liberal?

I suspect, spanky, that you are falling prey to the same tendency of a lot of liberals...of stereotyping Republicans. If you are, do you feel comfortable doing so?

1. Character limitations in a title forced me to truncate "Evangelicals".

2. The OP is an evangelical and long term Palin supporter due to her religious positions.

3. Don't confuse "conservative" with the right wing religious, they are two different things.

4. I am not a liberal.

1. Character limitations in a title forced me to truncate "Evangelicals".

2. The OP is an evangelical and long term Palin supporter due to her religious positions.

3. Don't confuse "conservative" with the right wing religious, they are two different things.

4. I am not a liberal.

1. Fair enough.

2. I guess you'll need to show me. I've done a bit of googling on her and , while she is certainly a Palin supporter, I don't see evidence she is an evangelist.

3. Again...show me.

This description of her doesn't mention evangelism: Welcome Stacy Drake! | A Time For Choosing and none of the posts on the first three pages of her blog, MIGHTY SERF, imply any sort of evangelism. (that's as far back as I scanned) Both sources DO show her as a "conservative/libertarian".

4. I've never said you were a liberal. I said that I suspect you of doing something a lot of liberals do: stereotyping Republicans. You DO understand the meaning of the words I've use?
