A Dem comparing a Rep to the NAZIs, how very cute and totally ignorant. Don't they know that the NAZIs were in fact National Socialist? Funny that the American Socialist Party (Dems) are comparing capitalists to socialists as a slur. I guess they really don't understand that they embrace socialism. A Socialist by any other name would still be an idiot and a Democrat in America today.

This reminds me of an ongoing theme on The Daily Show (or maybe it was the Colbert Report) for a while where they had six-year olds re-enact real pundits screaming and ranting on their shows. In that context everything said made perfect sense.

But while clever in concept the skits were irritating as hell so they stopped making them.

You might want to read up on the political leanings and beliefs of the Nazi's lest you be guilty of the very ignorance you accuse others. Remember the leftists were among the first rounded up and sent to Nazi concentration camps.

True, the Federal Socialist didn't like the Communist and rounded them up, that just means they hated those even further left than they were as well as what we might call the right (although our "right" doesn't really exist at our level anywhere else). Just because the rounded up those who were more leftist does not disassociate them with the left. Any form of Socialism is leftist.

Or maybe it is better described in three dimensions instead of the standard left-right two dimensions. The extreme left totalitarians didn't like the extreme left libertarians.

The nazis were fascists, which most (albeit not all) political scientists consider a prevision of "right-wing" political thinking. The German Nazi party was born from the "far-right"....... though I agree it isn't quite that simple.... but, it was not a movement of the political left by any means.

Political scientist is an oxymoron. People take what they say as somehow equivalent to what a real scientist does and reports. Which is why we have so many morons trying to compare conservatism to fascism and NAZI's.

These people are no better than the radical Imams, or the Catholic church of the past using emotions and their positions of power to influence people to their will. The people who believe what they say are no better than the animals who killed our Ambassador.
