In the early hours of July 10, armed SWAT officers burst through the doors of an apartment belonging to organizers of Occupy Seattle as part of an ongoing investigation into the May Day riots. Phillip Neel, one of the residents of that apartment, talks about the ordeal.On the morning of July 10th, a SWAT team raided an apartment where organizers from Occupy Seattle live. According to the warrant, the police said they were looking for "anarchist material" and were continuing an ongoing investigation into finding those responsible for the May Day riot. During the mostly peaceful actions in Seattle on May Day, there were also businesses that were disturbed, smashed windows, and tires that were slashed. But the police left the apartment in Seattle yesterday without arresting anyone, and just a few pieces of seized property. That's after they busted down the door, used a flash bang grenade, and tore through the entire apartment. Alyona discusses the raid with one of the people that was in the apartment when the raid happened, Phillip Neel, he's an Occupy Seattle Organizer and member of the Red Spark Collective.

well this is why people who dont like either candidate should vote third party and not the lesser of two evils.

as we can see,both bush and obama have pushed a police state,bush attacked mostly privacy,and obama a mix between free speech and expanding bushs anti privacy measures.most of the people who complain about a police state voted for the candidates that pushed it,and alot of them plan to re-elect one of them,despite the fact he has pushed everything they hate.


third party may not win,but as long as the lesser of two evils exists,there will still be evil,but with third party,you send a message.so far the libertarian party has grown large support in the last decade,as their popularity grows other parties will try to move in.all this competition wont be enough to win an election,but it would be enough to cause politicians to realize they dont have a pure hold on power.

I don't know. Maybe warrantless wiretapping, siezure of assets without due process, indefinite detention without a trial, even killing people who are suspected of certain crimes.

The law of common sense says everyone has rights. And Universal Declaration of Human Rights, US Law, all says they have rights, no matter what their political belief is.

Anarchists are criminals and traitors; not traitors to any particular state but to the very concept of a state. And now for our next lesson, what do we do with traitors?

Once upon a time, when America wasn't brainwashed by subhuman globalist scum, anyone who identified as an anarchist was prohibited from immigrating into the US.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that the difference is that one of them has actually committed a crime, whereas the other only spouts bullsh*t from his facial orifice. It's kindof a big difference, actually.

As a general statement, I'm going to give the government a pass to harass and abuse the occupy X folks as much as they want. OcupyX'ers are retards. Even if the police had abused them, I'm going to actively condone it.

Having said that, there was a riot, and the cops had a warrant. Don't like it? Don't be part of the occupy crowd.
