Any group that practices
racial exclusion is guilty of racism, which no amount of rationalization can justify_
And the fact that much of America has embraced
selective racism is the
point of this thread_
"selective racism" is the point of this thread? Seriously? Why then did it take you so many posts to state this? Why did you play the role of "superior intellect if you can't understand what I'm saying"?
The ugliest and most dangerous form of racism is that which is socially accepted and government sanctioned_
Or the most dangerous form is that which denies it is racist while attacking those "others". There is no government-sanctioned racism in this country except in the minds of those who feel their previous superior position in society is now threatened by demands for equality.

Maybe you should try that common sense thing you mentioned.
Wrong__If this were actually the problem,
Black America would be on the road to recovery by now_
"Black America" was on the road to recovery from centuries of discrimination until the recent financial crisis re-ignited fear amongst far too many Americans
The only way to help them to compete in the 21st century is by dealing with their problems
honestly_
A true statement, unfortunately the rights ways and means of "dealing with their problems" actually exacerbates their problems.
As long as we persist in approaching this dilemma from the perspective of
Political Correctness, the black race will continue to struggle_
Ah yes, the Political Correctness bugaboo of the right which seems to cover every aspect of fighting discrimination by refusing to accept the reality of it, like O'Reilly's War on Xmas or the recent (Feb) claims of "discrimination against Christians" voiced by GOP candidates which aren't PC, but actual attempts to fight discrimination are PC
