Who benefits from the leaking of critical national security information at this particular moment in time? What does logic tell you about the beneficiary of the leak of this information? There are few things worse than lying to one's self.

But the option on the table is not to either do nothing, or put someone in jail. Its to appoint a Special Prosecuter to investigate. As you note at the end, "a proper investigation".

I do believe that Donilon's name was mentioned because they have added evidence that he was the primary leaker. That is usually how these things are done. How they are prodded along. See if the WH, or Donilon, now claim "wasn't me", where there will then be evidence referenced to indicate "yes it was", which all goes to drumming up support for the investigation.

It's revealed to the public that the President and his administration are illegally killing people and conducting secret wars. The absolute most important thing to the media, the Senate, and the American public is not the massive amount of power that this administration (as well as previous ones) has taken, but who leaked the documents. The most serious widespread criticism that Obama has had to face are accusations of grandstanding. The fact that he is doing all of this with no judicial oversight, and is continuing or expanding the same bull****, imperial-presidency policies that he hammered his predecessor for does not bother most people as much. This leak does warrant serious investigation, but looking into Donilon should not be the highest priority.

I was just adding your label on to the long list of labels by other political quacks around the internet.

I don't read you enough to know what you have or have not labeled the P.O.T.U.S. And most likely, in the future, I will probably read you as much as I have in the past.

None of the above is relevant. Obama isn't Muslim or a foreigner. He's the Public Enemy. That term has a long history in Anglo-American jurisprudence.
