Obama Visit to Disrupt PATH Service - Metropolis - WSJ

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey urged commuters to avoid the PATH train station at the World Trade Center on Thursday afternoon, when the station will be shut down due to President Barack Obama’s visit to the site.

PATH service to and from the World Trade Center station will be suspended from roughly 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. as the president tours the One World Trade Center tower.

The Port Authority urged New Jersey-bound commuters to take the A, C, or E subway trains at Chambers Street to Penn Station, or the R train at Cortlandt Street to Herald Square. From there, riders can take PATH from the 33rd St. station to New Jersey.

Obama's shutting down the WTC during the afternoon rush... Inconsiderate and reeks of that elitism, some hate so much....

Why?

so he can hob nob with that sex in the city big nosed chick later....

'Checks and the City'? President Obama fund-raising at Sarah Jessica Parker's NYC home | Fox News

I cut out early today as I rode my bike again and use that station, **** that, he's been here more than any other president (183 times), and it all for fundraising. With "frozen zones", and his timing, you don't want to be around here this afternoon.

Inconsiderate and acting like royalty.... One would think in an election year, aggravating people would be the last thing one would want to do.

I am shocked, shocked I tell you :shock: to discover that Obama is the first president in the history of the nation to ever inconvenience anyone in their daily commute.

No doubt this is why the Constitutional clause about impeachement was first written by our sainted and visionary Founders.

Actually he's "inconvienenced" us, and the millions affected, more times for fund raisers than any other president and most combined....

As you can see even the liberal ny times is questioning it.

I worked in DC and when the president expelled gas, things were shut down.

Agree it is a pain in the butt. And the wait is sooooooooooo long for traffic to move an inch or two. I can sure feel for you.

I got the hell out of dodge....

Another reason not to live in a city.

Happened here all the time a few years ago. Bush and Cheney's little project was Sen. Coleman, and they were here in Minnesota constantly campaigning for him. Always resulted in a traffic nightmare, though I imagine that it's possibly worse around NYC.

USA home of the entitled
so sorry you were inconvenienced because of the protections afforded our president

I bet the sex and the city lady didn't even notice the massive gridlock, while obama attends yet another fundraiser on our dime... Yup USA home of the "entitled" "president"..... I bet he thinks we should all eat cake.

He shuts down Lake Shore Drive all the time. I will give him credit, though, several times he has stayed in a hotel rather than spend the night in his house on Hyde Park Blvd. It's a logistical nightmare whenever he's there.

As of 1 hr ago, wtc path still shut down, commuting is a mess. All for a fundraiser on our dime.

"let them eat cake"..... /facepalm

i get him for a week in early september
traffic should be fun
and so should the assembled anarchists

of course we will have been tested under fire
the national shriners convention will be two months before
if we can survive them we will be able to deal with Obama

Mitt was in Cincinnati last night. most of the few problems were caused by our local attempt to emulate the OWS turds-a protest that looked like was recruited from Jabba the Hut's den or the Bar on Tatooine . razor blades and soap were unknown to the crowd.

the perrier drinking crowd are the rich yuppetts who paid 10K a plate to see Michelle a few months ago. Rich Princesses like Jennie Rosenthal Berliant and hospital chasing lawyers like Richard Lawrence and Stanley Chesley
