Gov. Scott Walker death threats after recall victory being investigated by police

Whew... HuffPo blog finally stepped up eh? Sweet....

TBH, I rarely read the HP....but generally because any time I happen onto a link it's for an OpEd that makes the author sound like he/she was too busy felliating Obama to write a coherent piece.

I'm sure they have some good articles, but I very rarely come across them.

Well it is honestly as bad if not worse. First off she is a politician not a slightly angered and/or even radical citizen. judging from this link here " Sarah Palin's "Crosshairs" Ad is Focus of Gabrielle Giffords Debate - ABC News " This came to seen as a death threat because this also happened in the wake of the attempted assassination of Gabrielle Giffords whose district was on this crosshairs map.

Not only that but Sarah Palin had made comments such as "Its time to make a stand", "Don't retreat. RELOAD" prior to the event.

Athough the Article puts him slightly with the left because of his mentioning of the book communism manifesto on his Myspace it fails to mention he also liked such political books as Animal Farm, Fahrenheit 451, Mein Kampf, and the Republic. Does this make him a Nazi because he liked Mein Kampf? I didn't think so.

Larger factors are Arizona's conservative gun laws and Loughner's mental instability, which would not be suprising if it was influenced by Sarah Palin's recently introduced crosshairs map.

Who is it that normally tries to off a public official? Another politico, or a crazed citizen??

[...] nor am I the one who is pretending there isn't a difference that target, and one from a rifle scope targeting the head of an actual human being.
Where did that latter one come from? Who made it? (2nd request).

Who exactly are our political gods nowadays?

Whatever that invisible entity inside you is, that guides you to abandon common sense and and embrace falsehoods to prop up your political beliefs.

Why you asking me? I didn't post it.
Because you are using it in your argument. How do you know it is:

1. Real.

2. Created by a liberal.

There is no doubt as to the source of the Palin graphic. Your Walker graphic, referenced by link in the OP (“Kill Scott Walker”: Angry libs flood Twitter with death threats after Wisconsin recall defeat | Twitchy), is a complete unknown, which by all appearances originated at a right wing site (Twitchy). Yet you seem to accept it as fact, a left wing counter-example of the Palin graphic. Why?

Personally from looking at history overall i'd say both. In this case i will go with latte like you intended however.

As a politician though we should hold them at higher standards and trust them not to advocate things even indirectly or unintetionaly such as violence.
I never once said Sarah Palin would come on wielding a gunand mow down some people. I only said she might have provoked it.

That's irrelevant to my point... Whether it was made by a lib or not, doesn't change the difference between it and the targeting of congressional districts on a map for an upcoming election.

And that opinion is a politically motivated one that flys in the face of common sense.

You mean never NOT happen...

I'm not the one who is pretending that targeting a congressional district on a map for an upcoming election is "violent", nor am I the one who is pretending there isn't a difference that target, and one from a rifle scope targeting the head of an actual human being.

No, you're pretending that targeting a politician to be defeated in an election is a death threat. Since you only thought that when the politician in question is a Republican....

If you look back at my post that i replied to you with you might understand how the gap betweenthem is smaller than you think.

Do your own leg work and go find out.
Ah! The expected right wing response... 'it's true because I like it, and no facts are going to change my mind, so I'm not interested in any'.

Thank you for demonstrating that to the world :)

Umm, no I'm not... I'm saying there is a huge difference between a target on a map for an upcoming election, and a target from the scope of a sniper rifle centered on the head of an actual, living human being...

Think "Common sense" instead of political gamesmanship.

I'm sorry, but there is no comparisan between the two, and only politics or idiocy could make a person see it any other way.

Do your own leg work and go find out.

So let's get this straight. A righty claims that it was done by a liberal (providing no proof I might add), yet it's up to a liberal to find out who really made it?

Debating 101, you fail.

Conservatives are getting more and more stupid by the year.

Upon review, I see your point -- you were presenting a rhetorical argument that had nothing to do with the topic of the thread. My bad :)

Yes, there is a comparison between the two because you cannot prove WHEN it was made. If it was made before Tuesday, then it's the SAME ****ING THING. Conservatives are getting dumber by the year.

There's a difference, but it's not as big as you think it is. While it was tasteless, it amounts to the same message as the target on the map, which is "Defeat [Name of opposing politician]."

Saying that this means someone should shoot Walker is like saying that the target on the map meant someone should bomb that district. Think "common sense" instead of "Liberals are always evil."

What part of "Do your own leg work and find out" is confusing you? I'm commenting on Karl's asking over and over about the picture. The rest of your BS... don't care, not interested and frankly, you bore me with it. What fails is your little tirade of nothing, which is irrelevant to my post, as some sort of bait. One day you'll be able to form coherent sentences.... won't you be proud!!

Someone claimed it was a liberal that made it, it is not up to ANYONE else except the person who made the claim to prove it.

Your claim of "Do the legwork yourself" belongs to the person who made the ****ing claim in the first place.

Well since you give no hint that you even attempted to even read or consider my refute I'm willing to assume your ignorance is what causes you to have such a narrow mindset.

This point of contention was based on the post by haymarket, when he introduced Sarah Palin to this thread by comparing that picture to the one on Palin's website targeting congressional districts on a map... A post which by the way, 4 or 5 other liberals have shown their dishonesty by attempting to defend.

Well, there are two graphics floating around. One was a posterboard version with "RELOAD" on it and crosshairs over Walker's face, clearly mimicking the Palin gaffe. This was 'found' after a pre-election rally.

The other is the one seen at the Twitchy site linked in the OP, and is clearly a crude Photoshop of Walker's face in a rifle scope. There is zero information at that site as to the source or authorship of that graphic. One right wing site claims it was posted on Twitter, but they provide no link or screenshot. Very dubious.

Are you misinformed, confused, or is this yet another attempt at dishonest political gamesmanship?
