Beck knows that there is no box of papers that will reveal anything about Obama. He also knows that he can get attention from the idiots who believe everything Beck says on the radio, and that the media attention brings in advertising dollars. Beck isn't stupid. He knows how to get and keep a big audience of gullible people, just what the advertisers will pay for.

Buy gold, anyone?

The value of gold is a made up concept, too. Once, it was worth $35 an ounce. I wish I had bought some then. Now, it has been hyped to the point that it has a higher made up value than it would have otherwise.

Of course, Beck advertises other things, too.

When he was on CNN, his schtick was much different. He remolded himself when he got hired on Fox.

He has also spoken openly about CNN stifling much of what he wanted to do. If you had never listened to his radio show, you might have been surprised by the way he did he show on Fox. Those who did listen to his radio show saw him being more himself on Fox.

Forget who you are? Beck has his own network with 300,000 subscribers, a syndicated radio show, his website The Blaze, does a live political comedy act and is a prolific author. He made 80 million dollars last year
as compared to Limbaugh's 69 million. If NPR had a couple of Beck's the government wouldn't have to subsidize them to the tune of 400 million dollars every year.

What a country this is...and always was...a total nutjob like beck makes 80,000,000 what other country would even let him out of his straightjacket....I watched his show twice on fox...both times he started crying literally crying over something a liberal did...are you serious ?

Since many of them are propped up by partisanship, hyperbole and just flat out lies.

There are many people who entertain and make a lot of money for it. I guess all of them are "just in it for the money" too.
