I dont care what political persuasion you are this violence has to be condemned by all. There is no way to protect oneself from sniper drivebys like this...Events like this can ruin many peoples lives having them fearful of leaving their home....THERE IS NEVER A REASON TO COMMIT VIOLENCE like this.

Unidentified gunmen on a motorbike shot the chief executive of an Italian nuclear engineering company in the leg on Monday, police said, in an incident reminiscent of politically motivated violence that raged in the country in the 1970s and 1980s.

Roberto Adinolfi, chief executive of Ansaldo Nucleare - majority owned by Italian defense conglomerate Finmeccanica - was shot outside his house in Genoa in northern Italy, police and judicial sources told Reuters.
Two men on a black Yamaha motorbike wearing helmets fired three shots, fracturing Adinolfi's right knee. He was not in a serious condition, the sources said.
Shooting people in the legs was a trademark practice of the Red Brigades, a left-wing guerrilla group that carried out a campaign of murder and kidnapping aimed at destabilizing Italy in the 1970s and 1980s and known as "the years of lead".

Why isn't this interpreted as a protest against Nuclear power? With the "sword of Damocles" named Fukushima hanging over our collective heads it seems logical. The powerless use terrorism because it is their only alternative. Politics is owned and operated by Big Money worldwide and the voting booth has failed to correct shortcomings. I think it was really nice they only shot him in the leg. It would appear to me that it is the alternative that might work in the USA since the Nuke Korporations own the NRC and work against the public interest. Let me see, 2012, Romney VS. Obama. Does this represent the majority of the citizenry or does everyone protest that they have no input in the process? The banksters got input. AIG got input. Goldman Sachs got input. JPMorganChase got input. Exxon/Mobil got input. Joe Plumber got jack chit. That be a small piece of paper to clean his fingernail after he take a crap.
