I seen this before and was surprised no one posted it. I feel in this case, she probably should have been at the very least fined, but having to be in jail like she is, is crazy. Especially since her husband apparently hit on her. To me, this gives more reason why Zimmerman will likely go to prison for awhile.
This is what's so mess up in this country. If she had just shoot to kill instead of shooting at the ceiling, she could claim whatever she wants and if she was under Sanford police chief's jurisdiction, she would have already walked free, no question asked.

What an absurd attempt to interject race into a purely legal matter.

I fail to see how stand your ground failed her. By all legal rights she should have laid the guy out on the floor dead as a doornail. The FIRST rule of carrying a weapon is that it's not a means to threaten. It's a solution to a life threatening situation. A CCW permit holder isn't even allowed to show the weapon. It MUST be concealed. You will have your CCW revoked for brandishing a firearm to threaten people.

So what you are saying, is that had she shot and killed the guy she would be walking freely? I fail to see how that is better than warning the guy off.
