Why can't we just simply get a vote on a Brand New Tax System that is Fair Across the Board. The current system is archaic, unfair, unbalanced and my opinion, unconstitutional.
Until there is a permanent change the underlying tax code, such that fairness is at the heart of the system, then there will always be complete non-sequitur campaign red herrings such as this, that pits the "haves" against the "havenots."
It's like we always go through some kind of Hatfield and McCoy, scenario, every single election.

- etc.
All the while, every single one of us is still getting hammered at the pump each and every week - without fail. All because of a broken U.S. Foreign Policy that has been in effect since 1953, and all because we never did anything about seeking out alternative energy solutions. Or, we end up with a reduced economic middle class every single economic downturn - without fail. All because of a broken economic domestic agenda that put profits and spoils head of economic security for all, by outsourcing American Jobs overseas and dismantling our nation's ability to produce exportable manufactured products aboard - instead of American Jobs!
Our entire economic model for the past 40+ years, was based on a mathematical impossibility that nobody gave a rats tail about, because we were all too busy enjoying the ride. Well Hello World America! That bill has now come due and payable and we've got nobody to blame but ourselves.
The old system failed! Period! At what point does the United States of America, sit its collective butt down across High School and University campuses throughout this country, and start having (DEMANDING) that our elected officials fly their butts out of Washington, D.C., to answer to the American People about what's being done and WHEN we can expect same damn results!
But, oh no. Let's talk about tweaking an already busted tax code, so that we can have just one more useless discussion amongst ourselves before the next Great Depression begins!

Our collective HOUSE IS BURNING! Can't we smell the darn smoke! Every single High School Auditorium should be filled to the rafters with people from the community, sitting down with their Congress Man, or Woman on this issue. We MUST design a brand new Economy - from the ground up. The old economic paradigm is GONE. Long Gone!
We are like a bunch of walking zombies, completely clueless about what happened to us. We just waltz around each day, like nothing ever happened! We ALL should be marching on Washington, D.C., or demanding that they get their butts out to see us in our own communities - the communities that THEY took an oath to SERVE - not SCREW!!!
Congress is PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER #1, folks. Don't allow anybody to swindle you into thinking otherwise. Congress, has been the problem in this country for D E C A D E S !!! WHEN, do We The People, get enough of being punched in the face by these fascist clowns? Heck, I don't think some of them can even spell the word fascist - I just think some of the people we send to D.C. are flat out morons. But, hey - what does that make us? We sent them there, didn't WE.
And, these Congress Men and Women keep laughing at us. I 100% guaranteed you - that these people on the left and the right, once the cameras are turned off, burst out into unbridled epic laughter behind the scenes at our rank stupidity for allowing them to continually - decade after decade - get away with bloody murder in the 1st degree on our economy. They keep screwing us and we keep right on sending them back to Washington, like it was no big deal. Later, they toss out some political bone of contention, just to keep the people looking in the wrong direction as they pick our back pocket.
These guys put Lance Burton, David Blaine and David Copperfield, to absolute shame. And, we just sit up and applaud their crap, like we are at some show in Vegas.
YEAAAAAAAH! Vegas Baby! Roll the dice on our children's economic future one more time please, cause Daddy needs a new pair of shoes. Oh, no! Snake Eyes - not again! Oh, watch out - here comes the Congressman's hand wrapping around your waistband and into your wallet one more time as he puffs the words "Reproductive Rights" past your earlobe causing you to snap your head in the other direction - YES! There is it folks, send that son of %$#^%$# back to Washington, where he belongs, and tell David Copperfield, that we don't need his lame butt anymore - cause we got a LIVE one sitting here in Congress, taking care of "business" for us.
Goodness, gracious - we ought to be soooooo tired of the same old story from the United States Do Nothing Congress.
