Big No-Tax Corps Just Keep on Dodging

As far as I'm concerned corporations should not be taxed at all. The CEO is taxed , the top executives are taxed and every employee is taxed right down to the janitors. When you tax a company it is double taxation really and companies figure in taxes as a business expense and tack it onto whatever good or service they produce so in reality the consumer pays the tax. When you increase a corporation's operating cost you make them less competitive with other countries company's that provide the same good or service and increase the possibility that the American company will go out of business so then you lose all the tax that came in from their employees.

How is any company going to pay those increased taxes? Simple, they pass the extra cost on to consumers. The cost of good and services rise. In the end, sure the government gets more money, but not from the "rich" but from you and me and every other average American. Some people don't seem to understand that increased taxes on the "rich" and corporations are passed down and are actually taxes upon the middle and working classes. The people who own and control these companies have that ability, they will continue to make just as much profit for themselves.

There is only so much money people will pay for for a product and only so much money a company can offer an employee before they look for work else where. This is why your premises is false. If I had a magic wand I would pay for a lot of the government completely through corporate taxes and "luxury/sin" taxes rather than income. A national sales tax does this almost exclusively.
