To protest a bill that would require women to undergo an ultrasound before having an abortion, Virginia State Sen. Janet Howell (D-Fairfax) on Monday attached an amendment that would require men to have a rectal exam and a cardiac stress test before obtaining a prescription for erectile dysfunction medication.

"We need some gender equity here," she told HuffPost. "The Virginia senate is about to pass a bill that will require a woman to have totally unnecessary medical procedure at their cost and inconvenience. If we're going to do that to women, why not do that to men?"

Address what? Some supporter of child killing thinks abortion is worth mocking? No thanks. I prefer to mock those that can find humor in slaughtering innocent human beings for no other reason then "convenience" for selfish people.

If she really cared about Gender Equality she'd address the fact a woman can decide a man's financial fate for 18 year's and he get's no opt out while she does. But then, her reasoning is just bull**** anyhoots.

I would like to ask her what her opinion is on the Obama administration making insurance offer B.C. for women with no co-pay but there being no similiar savings for men.

She can't pass a law that says men must carry the baby to term. I'd explain to you why, but it gets in depth and it's really a discussion you should have with your family first...

If you're against abortion, I understand that, but whining about how the woman, that actually has to carry to term and give birth, is the one that gets to make the decision is silly.

Sorry Zyphlin, but if you want to make a bill to to force women to have an unnecessary medical procedure done just to be ****ing pricks, then there is exactly nothing wrong with attaching equally ****ing ridiculous amendments to it. Go ahead and vent to some one making a point about a group of ****ing people trying to make it harder for women to do something they have every legal right to do in this country just so they can feel ****ing good about themselves. If her "joke" stirs enough controversy to get enough people to realize that it's ridiculous to put women through completely unnecessary medical procedures then I'm all for it and it serves a purpose.

I would think anyone that is supportive of "getting government out of my healthcare" would support her efforts in raising awareness about this silly bill.

I'm curious; are you equally adamant about the literally hundreds of state abortion laws that are filed every year, even though the majority of them are unconstitutional on their face and a complete waste of the legislature and judicial system's time?

Perhaps if someone didn't do something even more ridiculous than what the original bill is...because at least the original bill is being put forth by people honestly supporting it and honestly representing their constituents rather than this piss poor excuse for political discourse that this woman put out...and the bill was posted about I would say something about it. However, much like other instances...when someone does something so ****ing stupid you sometimes have to go after that before you can even get to the thing they were being stupid about. This is the same kind of thing as having to rant about someone calling Obama a socialist when criticizing one of his policies...yeah, the policies bad, but you gotta deal with the idiocy first. Yeah, requiring this kind of thing is stupid...but before I can rant about that we have to deal with this stupid bitch wasting tax payer, including mine as a VA resident, time and money with this idiotic and ridiculous joke of an amendment aimed at forcefully penetrating males.

The woman is stupid as ****. She, or you, wants to the bill she's protesting to be addressed and to be treated like a ****ing adult...then how about she actually address it like a reasonable adult politician rather than making ignorant inaccurate comments and throwing forward juvinile joke amendments to try and make a point.

I'm also supportive of increasing the political discourse in this country, which **** like this doesn't do. Congratulations to the woman. Had she actually...oh I don't know...acted as a reasonable representitive, made an argument against the bill, and tried to raise awareness to fight it perhaps she would've swayed me and actually had me communicate with the majority of the people I know which all live in Virginia suggesting the bills problematic.

Instead she does this kind of juvenile daily show eqsue joke. Congratulations to her, she's accomplished the exact opposite with me as she'd have hoped. I won't be talking to people I know about the issues with the bill, I'll be talking to people I know about the idiocy and ignorance of this official.
