Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband's career with a single interv

Re: Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband's career with a single in

Back to the primary thread topic. ABC is hyping this for all its worth. You can see online clips now, to include a very bitter ex-wife trying with all her might to bash Newt. Wonder how much she was paid. Or tried to extort in lieu of doing this.

And if Newt is as good as some of us think he is, he can hit a grand slam with this as well.

While he needs to once again affirm his foibles, and his redemption, he can then capitalize on the uber-hypocritical liberal MSM. This is all old news, being reborn by ABC solely to trash Newt. But where was the MSM on Edwards ? Heck, teh National Enquirer only got the scoop as the MSM would not go there against a liberal. Or Jennifer Flowers during the Clinton campagn ? Again, it was the Enquirer because the MSM would not touch it.

Lesser orators might be in deep doodoo on this. Americans are growing sick of the liberal double standard with the press. And Newt is the guy to drive a Mack Truck through that mess. But Gingrich can turn it into another standing O if he is on key

He usually is.

Ahh yes, the 'I have sinned but now I'm pure' approach. It might work with the gullible bible thumpers, but I think most of the rest of us can see this lowlife for exactly what he is.

Re: Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband's career with a single in

LOL, let me point out that there is a difference between lying under oath and lying to your spouse.

Legally, yes.

Morally, no.

You're awful busy excusing lying and adultery. How low will you go?

The comedy is seeing liberals all in a froth smearing Newt for having cheated on his two wives. Who were equal-opportunity adulterers, btw.

So now you're claiming they both cheated on him? Got evidence for that?

How low are you going to go?

Regarding Newt as Vice Presidential material.....

He was asked by another member of the audience whether he would consider running for vice president if he doesn't get the nomination himself. In a rare acknowledgement of his weakness as a team player, Gingrich said the other candidates wouldn't want him as their running mate. "Well I'd have to look at it very seriously if offered. But I'll tell you, I can't imagine a presidential candidate who'd want to have me as their vice president."

Ten bucks says that if you pressed him, he'd say its because the nominee wouldn't want to be overshadowed by his superior intellect or some other arrogant thing.

Re: Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband's career with a single in

How about serial adultery? Should that be a disqualification - especially when coupled with hypocrisy of the worst sort?

Yes, I think a candidate's morals are a factor in whether or not he should be President of the United States. The greater the immorality, the greater the factor.

LOL ..... except that we have already seen with Clinton that all this outrage is quite phoney .... LOL

The joke is on the libs ;)

Hey, 82, is lying wrong? Is adultery wrong? Just want to clear that up before we continue. Yes or no on both, please.

Yes, which still places him well above such as Clinton, still a darling of the Democrats, as Clinton has never been forthcoming in the face of overwhelming evidence.

And Clinton lied under oath on top of it all.

Or are you gona tell us Clinton was somehow mischaracterized ;0

We have a Mormon running against a polygamist.

Hey Misterman. Is lying wrong, or only when a Conservative does it ? And as Gingrich has acknowledged he was wrong, is all this you just now finding such out ?

Yes or No will do. ;)

Thank you for the humor, btw.

Absolutely right. You can't be an arrogant little prick and expect your colleagues not to notice.

I will answer your questions after you answer mine. I'm eager to do so, but I'm not playing games with you. If you can't bring yourself to answer my questions, that says it all.

Misterman has already answered those questions. You continue to avoid them

Re: Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband's career with a single in

I dont know what the big deal is. She should just let it out and the networks should air it and people should vote according to who they believe is the best candidate. If whatever he did wasnt illegal I dont really care (its not like I would vote for him anyway). Unlike the Herminator who loudly protested his squeaky clean innocence (and we still dont really KNOW if he is or not), Newt has never implied that he was a saint (pretty well known that he was far from it). So...whatever is there ought to come out. Hell, he ought to say it himself...its not like its going to be a secret.

to be fair, his colleagues forced him out once before. i don't think he's well liked by washington, and i think he would have a very hard time leading.

Gingrich already answered the questions. Yet liberals continue to harp on obtuse stupidity.

It would have to be earth shattering for that to be true.

yes, poor newtie said he cheated on his wife because he loved his country so much. lmao.

Re: Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband's career with a single in

Clinton lied about it to the American public. To a grand jury. Major uber difference. Otherwise, who gives a rip if marriages are bad and folks cheat. Oh the HORROR !
People keep missing the salient details. It wasnt just that Clinton lied under oath...he lied under oath while on trial for sexual harassment. He was sitting on a couch in a motel room whacking off and asked a state trooper to escort one of his campaign staffers to his room, then stood up and asked her to kiss little Willie. THAT is what he was on trial for. to my knowledge he was never legally accused of anything regarding his escapades with Ms Lewinsky. The fact that a 60 year old man was sticking his cigars in a 22 year old WH interns vag and then smoking them was never on trial, nor was the allegations of rape and sexual assault from earlier incidents. Comparing the affairs of Mr Gingrich (already well known) to the sexual deviation and legal issues of one Bill Clinton is very silly and misses the mark completely. he was on trial for sexual harassment of a campaign staffer...something all those very women friendly, NOW supportive liberal types love to conveniently forget.

Well put, and only further advancing the absurd hypocrisy of the liberals.

As I said earlier, Gingrich can turn this into a Grand Slam again tonight. He can blow ABC, and the MSM, out of the water if his words are right. And he does have that way with words ;) This is what scares the BeJesus out of the libs.

Are you going to answer, or not?

It was the conservatives on this thread who brought up the comparison!

I agree, there is no point in talking about Clinton. He's not running for President. To compare him is to play moral relativity games. Gingrich's actions should be judged on their own.

Re: Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband's career with a single in

Are you going to answer, or not?

Did you ask me, or anyone, an intelligent question ?

Yes. I asked you if lying is wrong, and if adultery is wrong. You already saw my post. A simple yes or no to both would be appreciated. Not difficult questions.
