La Crosse, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Governor Walker recall supporters from La Crosse County drove their petitions to Madison Saturday. Organizers said there was a rush of people in the final days of signature collection, resulting in thousands of signatures added to the cause.
Article is here.
All the signatures have been collected, and guess what else. When they were turned in today, there were a million of them. 540,000 were needed to recall Walker, and the goal was 720,000, in order to have enough names, once the duplicate and frivolous names were weeded out. What has been turned in far exceeds the goal, and you can bet your bottom dollar that Walker's recall has just been successful beyond the organizers' wildest dreams, despite the violence and death threats that were done against the signature gatherers. Well done, guys.
Buh bye, Fitzwalkerstan.
