In today's edition of Outrageous And Unfounded Insults, Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI) has decided to question Michelle Obama's body shape.
MediaBistro reports that Sensenbrenner was overheard talking on the phone, retelling an incident in which he said about Michelle Obama:
"She lectures us on eating right while she has a large posterior herself."​
The most bothersome issue here is the conflation of two entirely separate matters: the First Lady's (natural) physique and her campaign for healthy eating and physical fitness.

From the original news story, it was an overheard conversation at an airport...not some legislative session. And she DOES chow on those unhealthy foods she preaches against. AND she has a fat ass. I'm not sure what the big deal is here all the way around. And I mean...ALLLLLL the way around...

I could tap a fat assed woman. One with a crack in the back I can leave.... Damn, I must have some black in my ancestry, because I love a nice big booty, and honky skinny ass turns me off. Come to think of it, my wife must be part black, because she has a HUGE booty. And right now, I have a hankering for some watermelon. :mrgreen:

I don't see anything wrong with the comment. I do perceive a problem that the media avoids side views of many prominent black people, like a reverse discrimination. Is that a topic censored from discussion?

Ugly? different strokes I reckon. Based solely on her physical appearance I actually find her very attractive. I dont find her politics all that appealing, but then, I honestly dont know what her politics are. I know her public persona. Big ass? yes. A bit hypocritical to chow (very publicly, BTW) on food she then says shouldnt be et? Well...sure. Ugly? Not in my book.

The better question is, why do people seem to have a hard-on for Michelle Obama-bashing? because bashing someone for having a nice ass is, in my opinion, something people do when they have an irrational dislike of a particular individual and they have no more legitimate criticism left.

Michelle is no Nancy or Jacqueline. Her postier doesn't look that big too me. And isn't the camera supposed to give the appearance of extra pounds to people? She's from and athletic family. Her brother, coach Craig is a big guy. I've seen him in person many times.
