it seems that everywhere u look,corrupt people are pushed forward.Is USA going to follow the fall of the roman republic,later to become empire?or we assist at the creation of an international entity?Australia gave up their guns not long ago too.The USA,i believe was announced not long ago,will station more troops there.:( what's going on?:confused:
 
the troops were for the aussies or so i understood.that NZ is loosing it's independence,it's what this article talks about.
 
I actually managed to watch the whole video in the link.Who ever made it comes off as a die hard conspiracy-tard and alarmist who is trying to use guilt by association and anti-war nonsense to get his message out. John Key might be a globalist piece of **** and he might be selling his country out to the world bank. But when you make a 7 minute and 26 second long slow and boring blatant propaganda video it hurts your cause, especially when you try to add anti-war retard nonsense like Bush lied for oil at the end of it. If that video was shown before the election then John Key would have won by a massive landslide.

And no, we are not losing our independence.

Key did win in what would be considered a land slide in a multiparty system - 47%. He only needs 2 more seats to form government.
 
Any nation that has the flag of another country on it along with the same Head of State as that country really isn't too independent now is it? :shock:

How embarassing. You live in NZ and you don't even know who your head of state is, not anything about the Commonwealth? Your head of state is Elizabeth II. 15 commonwealth countries plus UK of course have her as Head of state. Canada, Australia, Jamacia, etc.

I can tell you that kiwis don't really care about the commonwealth status. New Zealand got forced to become more independent of the UK, when UK joined the EU. In fact the economy crashed because of that.

I don't blame them. I think it's pretty dumb that you still have to maintain this colonial era crap in your actual system of government, but then again, having an apolitical head of state probably outweighs that. Look at what Juan Carlos did in Spain in the 80s when there was a coup. Someone who has vast reserved powers but will never execute them unless in a dire emergency, and in a non political manner (the only thing we know about the Queen politically is that she was angered that Margaret Thatcher didn't do more to help the poor) too.
