..as do I.Good. I hope he recovers fully and quickly.
University tuition has quadrupled in the last 20 years. It's not the loans, it's the sky high amounts.Dont intereupt his populist rhetoric with the facts. Ignore the fact that what they really want is the absolution of their college debt. Fight the power baby!!!
I DO remember...just last week...when the OWS people refused to serve food to the nasty icky homeless. Remember when you could divert attention from the facts making you look stupid by trying to distract from the facts? It only works when you have people that play your silly game.

"The thing is, we welcome the homeless here; they're a big part of the 99 percent," Marine Veteran Melvin Davenport told KVUE News.
I believe that the owners of the Universities and many alumni are part of the 1%.this much is true...
..which begs me to ponder why these protestors aren't protesting the universities who charge these exorbitant amounts.
Huh...funny...with that foaming OP, I kinda saw the blood dripping from your lips in eager anticipation...man...those 'marines'...those trained killers...they were going to set things right...after all...he was there 'brother'...You've got me on the straight party ticket. What you don't understand is that there won't be any killing. The point is being made. It will cause the change to come from the 1% and their control of the US government. Chicago '68 was a mess, but no one died.
No kidding...and those guaranteed student loans, high salaries for administrators...yeah man...they are making BANK...but...they arent protesting the universities, are they...they are protesting the people they went to VOLUNTARILY to take out a loan to PAY those universities...University tuition has quadrupled in the last 20 years. It's not the loans, it's the sky high amounts.
Facts is facts...you ARE the 99%...except for the smelly sweaty homeless...they cant partake of your candied peas, fois gras, organic creamed rice...screw them! They! Are not! The 99%! :lamoWell all your posts about OWS movement have been along the lines of: "oh they are a bunch of spoiled rich kids". Or the one directed at me about: "how i live off my mom's credit card"? So you want to argue facts now?
Ok...
Fact is the volunteer chiefs stopped serving food for 2 hours on Wednesday because they were overworked out from feeding protesters, homeless, and other people pretending to be protesters. They stopped serving for 2 hours food to everyone. They decided to continue to serve anyone that approaches them but have collectively agreed upon to downgrade the food to "basic brown rice dishes". They will continue to serve anyone that approaches however. But you must not forget Vance that this movement is not a New York movement its a global movement. In Occupy Atalanta the homeless are contributing to the campsite and are working to save a shelter they have established.
'Occupy Wall Street' Takes A Stand Against Pretend Protesters
From thDemSocialist's link:
In all fairness Micaiah Dutt, a Vet (8 Iraq tours) said that he felt safer in Iraq than he did at the OWS protest.
an understandable opinion, for sure."I served four tours in Iraq, and I felt more safe there at times than here," Micaiah Dutt told the news outlet. "There, I had a weapon and knew the people around me were with me. Here, I don't know."
This poor wretched soul should tell us more. Personally...Id love to know which state connected (that means they recieve state funding whether the individual can pay for them or not) hospital these poor dead souls were turned away from. Since state (not private) hospitals are REQUIRED to provide life saving services, I'd say there is the potential for a heckuva a lawsuit. And It WOULD be helpful to know how much his 'friends' (he must know a lot of people needing chemo) paid for cigarettes, alcohol, video games, cell phones, etc and not insurance. See...all we have there is a sign. Give us more.

Interesting... Why do 45,000 people die per year in this country from lack of health insurance? This poor wretched soul should tell us more. Go find the guy and talk to him..And It WOULD be helpful to know how much his 'friends' (he must know a lot of people needing chemo) paid for cigarettes, alcohol, video games, cell phones, etc and not insurance. See...all we have there is a sign. Give us more.
How do you know Vance? And not him...YOU are the one living under mommies bank account. Lets keep the facts straight.
I saw the tap dance. I saw the outcry right after it happened. Nice to know even protesters have spin doctors. Was that article you posted the same one that cited the sexual assaults at the OWS sites, and the fact that a lot of the OWS people were afraid to go to certain parts of the park at night?Oh my god... Its in the article they are still welcome to get the free food they just had to cut back because of the massive amount of people and shortages of food. Can you not read?
Thats your defense? You psoted some picture of a guy that may or may not be full of ****...you just dont know?Interesting... Why do 45,000 people die per year in this country from lack of health insurance?
Go find the guy and talk to him..
How do you know Vance?
What my name?
What my families income?
Where do i live?
Is my house big or small?
What kind of car do i drive?
If im rich or spoiled why would i live off a credit card? Why not debit?
Really ??Then nothing. I cannot pretend to speak for the Marines.
I am pretty sure that is why you created this thread, to pretend like you speak for current and former Marines...That canister fire from the Cops was just plain bad luck. When you hurt one Marine, you hurt them all.
Would the LEOs really take on the retired US Marines?
This puts a lot of bite into the OWS protest.
8 tours. That's insane.
I did feel that Marine vets would bolster the strength of the OWS movement. The guys that are not re-enlisting are having a terrible time finding jobs. Being able to kill quickly with your bare hands doesn't boost one's resumé.Huh...funny...with that foaming OP, I kinda saw the blood dripping from your lips in eager anticipation...man...those 'marines'...those trained killers...they were going to set things right...after all...he was there 'brother'...
My lean is 'very liberal'. Figuring out my voting record isn't rocket science, but I'll give you an E for effort.Of COURSE I have you on the straight party ticket. Ive only been here a year or so but have seen your complete democrat kneejerk defense mode since day one. So this pretense about the bankers and borkers and their political influence...it means precisely...squat.
They might have a board of directors to set the tuition prices. I just don't see the upper crust telling them that the prices are too high. The Universities in Texas were regulated by the State for tuition costs. As soon as the GOP got in those regulations were canceled. That was nice for the greedy bastards in the universities. They started raising the tuition costs and will continue to raise those costs for the foreseeable future if they are not reigned in.the "owners" and alumni set tuition prices?
