Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Owes Taxes Going Back To 2002 [edited]

So...if we understand Buffet correctly..."Its not fair I dont get taxed more...I really believe I SHOULD be getting taxed more. Except of course...when I can avoid it." Its should be fun to watch the people trip over themselves to defend him for no other reason because he has been under the sheets with Obama since 2008.

I think it should be mentioned that Buffet's comments were regarding his personal income taxes, not his corporate taxes, which are the subject of the article.

Which of course makes him a pure hypocrite, since the whole premise of his 'i get taxed less than my secretary' riff was based on his personal 'income' vs his corporate earnings.

Obama supporters, cabinet members and advisors tend to be tax scofflaws. NO big surprise that someone who is as big an Obama ass kisser as Buffett is one too

Is he a scofflaw?

Or is he just taking advantage of loopholes to delay paying?

Im not sure which of them is wearing the other ones stink. They are too arrogant to be embarassed or ashamed of themselves.

Of course he is taking advantage of the loopholes...which is why he is such a hypocrite. All of them. "Oh...I make 15 million...and if the government would just change the laws and force me to pay more taxes I would actually do more than pretend to give a **** about 'the poor'. Love...Jon Stewart"

I guess this shoots "the Buffet Rule" all to hell !! Right from the Obama 2012 website:

Barack Obama | Buffet Rule

Obama is such a cluster****. Quit already you inept ass.

I do not think you understood. Buffett's comments about his taxes dealt with his personal taxes. This story deals with corporate taxes, which are not the same thing. There is no hypocrisy.

So since he only cheats on the corporate half, his integrity is intact

How many is enough that they "tend to be"? I mean, you only list millions and millions of people.

Which is precisely what I said...and it absolutely IS hypocrisy. He KNOWS his personal 'income' is minimal. His corporate earnings are massive.

That is what we call a straw man. I simply pointed out the actual facts of the case, and by the way, he is not cheating on his taxes, his corporation is in dispute on what is owed. If you would care to argue with what I said as opposed to what you wish I had said, I would appreciate it.

The two aren't unrelated. Buffett makes money off of the lower capitol gains rate which is a product of shares owned and their values, he very well has cheated his value up if the taxes not paid were left in the company.

His personal income for 2009 I think it was was 62 million. Care to try again.

Again though Redress, every second they can delay by disputing that bill is interest earned on the money until it is taken, a benefit we don't enjoy being without the means to justify the accountants that can pull off this trickery. Buffett is a grade A hypocrite and knows damn well he could pay more taxes if he wanted to. Every second Buffett earns money on the disputed assets based on his capitol gains and that is most certainly dishonest.

I think you need to look up what the word hypocrite means.

Legitimate argument if he was a mail clerk or stock boy at BH.

Or is lie by omission one of the "turn the other cheek" rules liberals adopted during the Clinton administration?

I'm dying to know.

I know what it means. Warren Buffett is volunteering everyone else to pay more taxes based on the "my secretary pays more.......blah blah" bull that he spews, all while taking more in capitol gains to avoid the higher income tax percentage. Then it is found out Buffett's fund is delinquent on taxes....avoidant behavior if you ask me. Nope, hypocrite fits quite nicely.

EDIT- Fat, disingenuous, lying, piece of **** also fit in that equation nicely too.

the real hypocrisy is that asswipe whining about his secretary's rates when he structures his compensation to be such that his earned income is artificially low

you know as well as I do that similarly situated executives-ones who cannot control their compensation package nearly as much as WB-normally are compensated with salaries in the several million dollar range.

Buffett's salary is less than what a federal public defender makes
