Herman Cain has written 113 columns for leading birther website

Woooooow Liblady. Care to chuck out more racial slurs to trash a place. Its okay of course because you're a liberal and don't like it so naturally that's fine.

white trash is a racial slur? so you're a wnd fan? perhaps i should have said just plain trash. my apologies.

white trash is a racial slur?

So you're speaking about literal white colored trash...like pieces of blank printer paper and white bed sheets...rather than "white people"?

If so, then sure...its not a racial slur.

If not...then yes, yes it is. It is on the same level as some of the big ones like the n-word? No. But its still a racial slur.

so you're a wnd fan?

Nope, I think the site is mostly garbage. Much like Media Matters. Much like a lot of what goes on at the Huffington Post and almost all of what goes on at the DailyKOS. Doesn't change the fact that insulting it as "white trash", which suggests that is what its readership consists of is rather derogatory. It'd be little difference than calling Perez Hitlon a "fag website" or suggesting that the DailyKOS is a "dirty ghetto website" because it supports affirmative action. Or suggesting Al-Jazeera is a "Towel head website".

perhaps i should have said just plain trash. my apologies.

Why apologize when you don't mean it, you're true views and beliefs were made purely evident already.

It sure is. I would have thought a Liberal would know that.

The headline isn't the most honest one I have seen.

I already knew he was a WND kind of guy. It would have been amusing to see that he was a birther too.

Actually, Cain's participation lends alot of credibility to WND.

If you posted there is would increase their credibility. Not many people could lower their credibility. They are one of the least credible sources out there.

Note, because some one will try and pin me for something not said: This does not mean that Cain's column appearing in WND was a negative for Cain in any way, Cain did nothing wrong, Cain is not a birther to the best of my knowledge. He is actually to my understanding a great guy, just not a good choice for president to my mind, but that has nothing to do with his column appearing in WND.

A vid entitled, "...Herman 'Race Card' Cain"?

Real classy!

No comment on the ignorance he demonstrates in the interview???

"Don't blame Wall Street, don't blame the big banks, if you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself. It is not someone's fault if they succeeded, it is someone's fault if they failed," the ex-Godfather's Pizza CEO declared.

Herman Cain to Occupy Wall Street protesters: If you're not rich 'blame yourself'

cain is a great guy? i'm not so sure about that......he's a tea party panderer. it's not always your fault if you don't have a job, and it's certainly not your fault if you lost all your money in enron.

edit: it's funny......i can find only one article in WND written by Cain.......

It implies 3 things that are not true, to lead readers to falsely believe that Herman Cain is a birther that either caters to, appeals mostly to, and/or is part of, the fringe kooks on the far right and is associated with the websites they frequent.

1. They imply that WND is a website dedicated to, or is centered around, the "birther" issue... That is false. They are a conservative news outlet that centers on general political issues. As Wikipedia states, they are "an American web site that publishes news and associated content from a U.S. conservative perspective".

2. They imply that Cain is a staff writer or contributer that writes articles specifically for WND, and that he has some kind of personal affiliation with them. That is false. North Star Writers Group syndicates Cain's columns nationwide to many different websites and media outlets, including WND.

3. Finally, even though the piece says that none of the 113 articles from Cain that appeared at WND were on the subject of Obama's place of birth, the headline of the original article on Yahoo read "Herman Cain has written 113 columns for leading birther website" implies that Herman Cain is himself a birther, which is also false.

I don't know about you, but that qualifies as "phony" to me.

wnd is a known birther website. truth. cain appeared 113 times on wnd. truth. whatever you infer from the headline is your issue. personally, i think cain's credibility suffers through wnd, but i never thought he was a birther.

edit: OOPS! maybe he is.......

"I respect people that believe he should prove his citizenship," Cain told a conservative Florida political blogger. "He should prove he was born in the United States of America."

I see the story similar to the story of Barack Obama and Rev. Jeremiah Wright - guilt by association. Although Barack Obama never spoke like Wright did, Wright's qualities were projected upon Obama.

i see that......however, my issue is with his articles being published in such a rag. that, and of course he has stated that obama was raised in kenya......lol. he panders.

And I foolishly thought you would put the truth above politics... My bad.

That's exactingly what you do Grim!!! Liblady expressed an opinion. Do you understand that your 'truth' is not the same as somebody else's 'truth' Apparently not!!

"I respect people that believe he should prove his citizenship," Cain told a conservative Florida political blogger. "He should prove he was born in the United States of America."

I absolutely believe this also. I have to prove who I am when I get a job. I had to provide a birth certificate when I was hired. Why do we not require this of something far more important like president?

Was Obama born here? Absolutely. Should he have to provide a birth certificate? Yes, so should Cain, Romney, Perry, etc.

There is nothing wrong with that position just as there is nothing wrong with a publication picking up your column. I'd want mine picked up by whoever wanted to run it. People write these to get their opinions out there. I'd want as many to read it as possible.

Although did past presidents have to give in there birth certificates? If not, why he had to be single out?

Dishonest article. Completely and totally. Guilt by association doesn't fly. My guess is that the OP posted this as a way to check for hypocrisy from both sides. If you defended Obama over Jeremy Wright or Bill Ayers, are you also defending Cain, now? Or if you attacked Obama, are you also attacking Cain? If you answered "Yes" to either question, that you have passed the hypocrisy checkpoint. If you did not, then you have not.

Until Obama comes up with a real Birth Certificate some will continue to question his birth place.

The last Certificate was shown to be a fake, but the Media ignored it because of all the ridicule from the Liberals.

At this point I don't care I only want to make sure the questions end with his removal from office in the 2012 election along with as many Liberals as possible.

Not sure the comparison you make is valid. Obama and Wright's relationship was (supposedly) different where Obama actually sat in Wrights Church pews and was Obama's spiritual Christian leader - baptised Obamas children. Cain wrote articles for WND, which had a bias towards the birther movement, yet Cain himself didn't write birther articles, and Cain was paid for the articles he wrote. The only thing even remotely the same here is the accusations were "guilt by association", yet the circumstances, context and type of associations are entirely different.
