Re: And yet another parent kills their kids

Ghosts don't kill people, demons do. Paranormal Activity taught me that.

Re: And yet another parent kills their kids

If those *#@ned republicans didn't oppose demon control we wouldn't have this problem!! :2mad:

If she's found guilty in a court of law, life in prison with no chance for parole is good enough.

In my community, there was a 13 year old boy who was told by his dad to put the dishes in the dishwasher. The boy did. Then the dad discovered that the boy put the silverware in the holder in the wrong direction so the dad dragged the kid up on the roof of the house and threw the boy off. The boy suffered a broken neck. The dad spent 11 months in jail. Anything wrong with this picture?

Yeah, the kid should have been informed the punishment was due to his wrongful rotation of silverware in the dishwasher so that next time he'll put them in right and not have to be thrown off the roof.

Re: And yet another parent kills their kids

This is just depressing, seeing this hate all over the world.
I think I will spend my time in more mellow forums. Fluffy ones.

Enola...I just posted the following in another thread before I saw your post:

Castle Rock v. Gonzales, 545 U.S. 748 (2005), was a case decided by the Supreme Court of the United States, in which the court ruled, 7-2, that a town and its police department could not be sued under 42 U.S.C. §1983 for failing to enforce a restraining order, which had led to the murder of a woman's three children by her estranged husband. (Source Wiki)

Something tells me that ****ing kids up will be a more prevalent trend. As the saying goes, "If there are no consequences for inappropriate behaviors...why stop them?" Looks like the S.C. have created a serious problem for kids. Kids are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

that will do but Id rather be done with her and not have her use up space and money for the next possible 30+ years.

Lots of people would. But I think employing the death penalty in general causes more problems than it solves.

11 months?!
yeas thats seriously wrong for an attempted murder charge.
he should have got at least 10 years.
or if our system was different in some case I would let people go scott free if they choose to subjective themselves to the same injustice they did.

So if the kid was thrown off a one story building Id have no problem letting this guy walk after he was thrown off a two story building on to the same type of surfaces the kid was but he should be blindfolded and his arms handcuffed :D

10 years? Pfft, it's not like he had kiddie porn.

Re: And yet another parent kills their kids

People who have mental problems come from any and all political views. And people who kill their own children are clearly in need of help but should never be allowed to be free from prison ever.

well I cant entirely disagree with you but my reasoning may be different.

I think the death penalty cause problems because of how we do it.
We drag it out for months and months, appeal after appeal and sometimes they are in jail 20 years before actually killed.

Id say any NEW crimes where there is video / genetic evidence and or confessions kill them fast and quick. No need to drag it out.

I dont want to be like other countries with NO rights for criminals but there is a reason why crimes are very low in some countries and its because of the punishment.

Lots of criminals now arent even afraid of going to jail getting 3 sound meals a day, seeing their friends and getting cable tv and internet access. Its a joke.

lol
sarcasm dually noted and just I might add ;)

but you are right had he had a stack of kiddie porn mags he would have been locked up but since he just failed in killing his own kid 10 months is fine, its mind boggling.

Re: And yet another parent kills their kids

Sometimes you just wonder what goes through the minds of parents that think its ok to kill their own flesh and blood.

This is entirely predictable. The value of human life decreased when government approved abortions increased.

Either a society values human life or it doesn't. It's just assumed to be retroactive abortion.
