Congress: Job Ratings

Trying to find more info on this. For now, have at it: Congress (as a whole, regardless of party) has an approval rating of only 14%.

I think that pretty much speaks for itself...

The big question now is who the hell makes up that 14%?

Congress always has extremely low approval ratings though. There's enough gridlock, demagoguery, corruption, and partisanship to make just about anyone puke, regardless of ideology.

Most people didn't like the way they handled the debt ceiling debate... they waited until the last hours and shoved something through. It's same way they worked on the bail out. The sling **** at each other like a bunch of monkeys and then finally jam a half assed bill through to make it look like the American people won. Our government is mostly dysfunction and something has to change, somebody has to propose seriously fixing it because this is not how the government was supposed to work.
